Thanks for all your responses. Very interesting discussion! Some of you mirrored my confusion and some of you didn't!
Most interesting outcome I must say is how we can quantize love!!! 😉 I am afraid my friend, this is something even experts would have a tough time defining it!!
Nevertheless, I think time does have a say in love! And it is definitely directly proportional to time! Since many of you shared personal experiences, let me also share mine!!! I and my boyfriend had to struggle for 4years before we could make our respective parents agree for the marriage. With time, my commitment, faith in him, understanding different aspects of him, strengthened my love. And during the entire time I had a sid like character (whom my father had chosen for me) in my life! Since I was not a confused character like Ridhima, I made a wise decision and married the person I love! It is easy to give in and move on but it takes guts to stick to something you believe and love. And a true love always gives you that courage to fight it out.
The short span of 3 days, 1 month, weeks to fall in love are plausible for a person with clean slate(though personally I see only disaster in such hastened love but anyways that is my view) but in this case we are talking about a girl supposedly madly in love with her boyfriend Armaan!!! I may be old-fashioned but this instant move on raises lot of credibility issue on Ridhima's love for Armaan!
As it is I didn't like the reaction that Ridhima gave seeing Armaan! I mean she was not bothered about Armaan's health! I know I am repeating but I'm so bugged by it! It just seemed she was more eager to remember her marriage to sid than the genuine concern about Armaan's wellbeing! Is this love?
I also don't understand why some of you doubted Armaan's love!! If you see the whole serial from the beginning, it is all about Armaan's love for Ridhima. Ridhima may have been indecisive sometimes but Armaan has never wavered and remained resolute in his love. Regarding his decision to stay away from her in his craziness state, I thought more than you and me, Ridhima, being a doctor would appreciate his sacrifice and would understand him. As a doctor you would know the helplessness state of Armaan and his need to stay away.
