Arshad's marriage was affected by Dia rumours

From the time 'Hum Tum Aur Ghost' began production, there was talk of something going on between Arshad Warsi and Dia Mirza, and Arshad's wife Maria being very upset about this. Arshad has now said that those rumours really affected Maria, though there was no truth to them.

He said that although Maria was understanding, the nasty gossip strained their relationship; and as a dad, (Arshad and Maria have two kids) he didn't want the rumours to affect his family. Arshad was also upset that Dia, who's a friend of his, was dragged into the situation.

But the fact that Maria trusted Arshad, and Dia also realized that people with an agenda against him were responsible for spreading the rumours, resolved the situation.
