yeh i agree....her english has a thick accent...nothing wrong with accents though...lot of people have them. But yeh its a bit unpleasant to listen to....however her dialog delivery GRATES on the nerves....he voice is always on the same tone with very little modulation. This makes all her dialogs seem totally flat and hence, no emotion is evoked. she needs to work on her voice and communication skills a bit more. thats it.

Rarely do I have issues with accents, because we all pick it up from our surroundings. My parents still have it, and they have been living away for quite a long time, so it's just natural, and there's nothing wrong with it. I'd rather hear that than PC or Aish putting up a horrendous accent in their interviews and movies.
I could care less for Deepika's interviews as I don't watch them quite often, but her Hindi is beyond pathetic as well. I don't know whose dialogue delievery I prefer more...Katrina's or Deepika's. 😳 It seems forced, maybe because of her voice too? *shrugs* As mentioned earlier, she needs to work on her voice modulation and delivery during scenes. All her scenes (sweet and passionate ones) come out to looking exactly the same because of the way she speaks in them.

She is an Indian,
She works in hindi film industry.
She lives in India.
Why should we critic her for her english?
She is successful in what he is doing and thats what matters.

Its not the accent ...many indian actresses have accents and it sounds fine. But the way she talks ...in english AND hindi, just sounds soo weird. Yeah, hema malini-ish. Watever it is, she needs to work on it ...

To tell u the truth, I cant watch hindi movie without Englsih sub titles bcoz I cant understand.

yeh i am from australia but i talk in hindi at home, and even i get a bit of an accent when i talk to my parents, i dun think there's anything wrong in it ur accent is part of where u belong, i think it wud be an issue when she played a girl who is not from india, if she is then there is no problem, but maybe she can work a little hard on it, but apart from that she speaks fine, i think it is endearing
