Jagya is with his frnds n phooli who are curious to know about his stay in Mumbai.
Anandi is in the kitchen preparing a dish for him, Sumitra enters with Gehna n stops Anandi, telling her to rest instead. Sumitra gives baghar, but Anandi is unable to smell the aroma of 'heeng', Sumitra n Gehna get worried but tell Anandi that the 'heeng' itself is of bad quality.
Gehna tells Anandi to go n play with nandu. While going to the room, Anandi passes thru the 'kothri' where dadisa had locked her up long time back, Anandi has flashbacks of the incident, she gets scared and yells 'Ma'... everybody rushes to her, dadisa understands what happened.
Bhairav asks Sumitra to take Anandi to her room, while dadisa is repenting for what all she had done with the child and asks forgiveness from God.
Anandi's mother calls, dadisa receives it and tells her that Anandi is a real Savitri n praises her highly. Bhago gets very pleased n promises dadisa that she n Khajan Singh will visit them shortly.
Khajan sees n hears this n is very angry. He tells Bhago that dadisa is acting, and she can't praise any1 but herself.
Bhago says that enough, all that has happened to Anandi is coz of your deeds. Khajan Singh gets angry n storms out of the room.
Sumitra n Gehna r with Anandi, Jagya comes back home n goes to see Anandi. S n G go to the kitchen. Jagya gives some Maths work to Anandi, they r some easy questions but she isn't able to do them...
dadisa remembers about her promise to God n tells her sons that she will do dan punya tomorrow.
Gehna prepares Jagya's n Anandi's thaali, puts ghee in only Jagya's food, dadisa stops her n puts in Anandi's also. Sumitra remembers old times n the change that has come in dadisa.
At night, dadisa goes to Anandi's room, Anandi is asleep, dadisa caresses her.
In the morning, Anandi wakes up n finds that dadisa is sleeping holding her feet! She gets scared n silently tries to go out of the room, dadisa wakes up.
A says that she is sorry to be sleeping so late... n that she will bring dadisa her tea! dadisa stops her, caresses her n says that Sumitra will do so n A doesn't need to trouble herself...
Anandi hugs dadisa saying that she is very nice! đ (it was at this point, that, I don't know why, tears came in my eyes)
Gehna informs that the jeep is ready, dadisa goes for the daan only with the sarpanch. While coming doing from the stairs, dadisa is about to fall when suddenly a woman saves her.
