| Sushant Rajput helping slum kids Buzz up! Sushant Singh Rajput aka Manav from Zee TV's prime time show Pavitra Rishta has been teaching street kids from Versova, Mumbai how to read and write. Discuss here We spoke to Sushant Singh Rajput aka Manav who said, "Yes, there are some five to 6 kids who are learning Basic English and Maths. Sometimes I also teach them Martial Arts, which I think everyone should know. They do it happily when I say that if you will learn this I will give you biscuit packets and for the biscuits they learn mathematical tables in five minutes." Further when asked him as to what made him help the street kids he said, "One day, I was sitting in Barista, Versova watching a movie on my laptop and out side Barista there were some kids who were doing masti and later on, I asked them would you like to learn and write and first they said no but later when I gave them the biscuits they were very happy and from then onwards for the biscuits, they are learning and writing." Rajput concluded, "Every kid has the right to be educated and not deprived of a better tomorrow. It's just the starting point of my initiative and I am hoping that my little gesture will help these kids for their future." |
