Today's episode (3/24/2010) - Some thoughts

I like the fact that Vishaka and Amma's true colors are in open and after the first wedding truth, nobody including Radhika would entertain them in their house. But, why do they have to show the extreme cases.

I think all the properties of Dev is on Radhika's name.Dev have transfered all on Radhika's name before the 2nd marriage.Have the CVs forgotten this? So how could Vishakha tell her to be a servant in her own house?

So, I am breaking my long silence, after what 6-7 months? I am not here to annoy anyone, but still express how I feel that this serial has touched new heights of ridiculousness and absurdities. Think of this:

1. Will Shastriji be selective in ignoring Amma and her role now? Shouldn't she be reprimanded?

2. Will Radhika, if not anything, disclose Amma (or atleast threaten her) and her involvement in the fire. If not Vishakha, that witch can definitely be kicked out of PB

3. Even if Divorce is not filed / accepted, Vishakha can not under any circumstance force to stay in the house - there is no law that protects this - she is protected to be taken care of not the location. As long as Dev agrees to give her expenses and keep her safe and gaurded, she is still okay to stay in the Mutt.

4. What is her reason of doign this? Revenge? Love for Dev? Her motive is still not clear. Which is most absurd. She was , two weeks ago - ready to do anything if Dev asks her. Now what happened?

5. What about those goondas?

6. What about vikram?

7. What about her pregnancy after her divorce? Isn't that the biggest proof that she is not fit to be CB?

8. What about her running away thrice?

9. What about her willingly participating in Radhika's marriage?

10. What about the fact that the will and all assets belong to Radhika anyway so Dev is kadka in her eyes. What does she want?

11. Why is no one, and I mean no one asking Amma to shut up?

12. Why is Dev atleast not exposing Vishakha now?

13. Why should Radhika be worried about the Truth - when Vishakha and Amma are themselves Shamelessly leaving no stone unturned in seeing that the Shastri does commit suicide...

There are too many lose ends and creatives have just lost their grip on the story - they dont know how to entice viewers and hence they are doing anything and everything to keep it going without worrying how/what this affects the long term view (Like Amma said... Ya to aage ki sochte nahi ya sochna chate nahi!)

yaah agree with u ,, all this nonsense is to create melodrama and drag the story ,,moreover they have sent devki to pilgrimage and wont let radhika reveal the truth so easily,,,and the only solution to this problem is disclosure of the first truth and what the frog face was telling was not also wrong...what will happen to the 2 families's reputation,,,but i think kanha has something going on in his mind,,,,but i think atleast radhika can share this truth to dev ...,,radhika is too helpless now and now also as the lawyer has told that dev should not do anything that will create more problems for him and his family ,,that means dev cannot stay with radhika,,,thats ridiculous ,,,

Angie ... here are my thoughts ... I have not yet watched the episode today but extremes in terms of bad people getting away with doing things happen over the short term.

They are showing the good people in PB in a fix ... they are worried abt what the world will think and how they will be perceived - so they have to tread lightly. If, legally, Vish has a right to stay in PB, they cannot do anything to push her out. They could totally ignore her. Dadi is the only one who has the authority to dictate what should happen in the house and if Dadi either locks herself in her room or if Vish totally disregards what she says, over the short term , till it is legally resolved, there is nothing they can do about it

Vish cannot force Dev to spend time in the room with her ... if Rads chooses to stay in the house though, she can force her to stay in the store room. Rads can choose to leave the house but I think she will stay and try to work out a solution. Though Rads has become tougher with Vish, she is still gentle by nature and Vish is capable of pushing her around.

IMO, in the short run, since the good people of PB are not vicious and mean like Vish and Amma and since they worry abt the law and abt doing the right thing, they could get treated badly. However, it will work out alright in the long run

I do hope Vish puts Rads in the store room ... and want Rads to find the pic that will be the proof of the first wedding

In terms of divorce laws in India, I think they are quite strict ... again, you can get away with things if you manipulate the law, bribe people etc ... but since Dev and family would never think of doing things like that, they would have to wait for justice and that takes a long time

Why,
the day Dev brought that witch into his home, he invited these problems upon himself. Vish kanya is so characterless that she'll even try to get Dev to sleep in her room after kicking radhika out to the store room. I hope creatives don't show something as sick as dev camping out in her room...yuk! Court orders do not require that at all so they better not show it. I wonder when dev will learn the truth and fight to prove that he was only married to radhika. This journey is getting tedious but at least I'm glad vish kanya is in dev's shit list forever. Really couldn't stand her lovey dovey looks towards dev.

Another thing is that Shastriji can at least force Amma to leave PB. He can always threaten her with taking jal samadhi if she doesn't come back. On other note, if Vishaka can force PF to let Amma stay, why can't Dev , Dadi and Vaishali do the same with Radhika. They can always give Radhika another room. Dev can also stay in a third room. So, I really hope that they don't show the ridiculousness of Dev being forced to stay with Vishaka in the same room. Nobody can force anybody to stay in someone's bedroom even if Vishaka calls the police. So, lets say that Radhika and Dev live separately so as not to give any cause to the courts. But, they are not forced to live like a servant or somebody else's husband in the same room. That doesn't make any sense.

one thing i forgot to mention about the frogface giving advice to her poti,,that she should first concentrate on winning dev's room ,,then his heart and then his body,,how ridiculous and shameless creature,,they still have hope that vish will ever make a place in dev's heart,,,,,but i liked frogface for mentioning mann before tann and not tann before mann

Vish could say that Dev and Rads pressurized her into signing the divorce paper bcos everyone saw Rads slapping Vish ...

Since she had a miscarriage and there is no proof, she could say that it was Dev's baby ... it would be her word against his that they never slept together

She could say that Rads and Dev had an affair during her marriage to Dev and that her marriage never stood a chance

Again, Vish could manipulate a lot of things in her favor. She is capable of lying and scheming and doing everything to get her way.

Dev and Rads have to tread lightly and become crafty around her ... the only way they can get to the truth is by pretending to listen to her and be nice to her ....
