@SAS - you didnt know that?? Do you really think the winners of SRGMP Senior shows get the full prize money to keep for themselves?? Listen to the words carefully when they speak about the amount - for SRGMP, they say the winner gets a 25 or 50 lakhs music CD contract - pay attention to the fine print here which is the underlined part!! For DID-1, they said the winner will get a chance to do a dance in a Bollywood movie (which was true right, except that the dance parts were edited out!) and a 50 lakhs contract - the term "contract" means a lot, you know...

Thank you dear... As I said earlier, my business exposure helps me to think in their shoes.. But even if the contestants are made aware of all these, they will still love to participate in the show as it gives them name, fame and recognition, and will look good on the resume, as well as help them a lot in their future career... It's the same way where the ANTM show contestants get a stepping stone to enter the modeling industry just by being on the show's first episode itself...

^^^@Angel -- The ANTM winner gets to sign a contract with the Ford Modeling Agency, which is the dream Modeling Agency for all models. They also get a contract with Covergirl Cosmetics, and many other prizes are also there. In these contracts, they are like employment agreements and not like the Zee contracts. They work for the company as their model and get paid for it! And I agree with you - most of them have the looks or the body, but kinda empty heads!! LOL...

I agree with the topic starter... last year they showed Jai the stars and then literally knocked him down...Remember Alisha getting the topper in votes on her birthday...they are doing this again with Amar on his birthday...it maybe a trick of ZEE...

The girls on the show always get a raw deal. Why can't they have a top male and top female in these shows like DID, SRGMP, like they did in Cinestars ki khoj.

Yes I agree!!! The SRGMP winners don't get the money, they sign a contract and therefore are not allowed to sing in any movies for a year (I think). Instead they have to release a music album just like Aneek did. Aneek has never sung in any movies whereas Raja and some others have. The money they win is used in making the Album. In DID 1 Salman was promised a music video in the movie Wanted...the promise was fulfilled and a lot of promos were shown of it but it was cut out from the main movie!!! What's the point of it then??? Wonder what will be promised to this years winner?

What will Zee gain by making a specific person a winner?
They're still getting votes in..


Also, i think everyone just needs to enjoy the show & go with the flow :)

When our favorites go out, its normal to think that the show is rigged. But we have to think that this world is a BIG place and all have different opinions.
