Al Gore Strikes Hollywood Deal

HOLLYWOOD - Former Vice President Al Gore has found a new voice after Hollywood studio Paramount Pictures purchased the rights to new documentary An Inconvenient Truth, which he narrated.
The independent environmental film—which voices the ex-politician's global warming concerns—received acclaim from audiences and critics at the Sundance Film Festival last month, and will now be distributed to a worldwide audience. Gore says, "I decided to take part in this documentary because the filmmakers convinced me that it was the best way to get the word out to as large an audience as possible, and to convince more people to look at the truth of our circumstances.
"We are recklessly, mindlessly destroying the Earth."
