DID 2 not up to the mark??

Hey guys! I've been wondering since the second episode of DID 2 if DID has lost its magic! I mean all the dance have to have stunts and sometimes it feels like it has more stunts than actual dance...

Most of the songs they dance to are sad songs and some costumes are atrociously scary!
I mean...have deep theme and stuff but show some nice graceful dances once in a while that relates to Indian dances...For example, Bollywood!

Everyone enjoys Bollywood dances so they might as well concentrate a little more on that and yeah...I'm kinda getting tired of DID 2! 😡

What do you guys think? 😳

Talent wise DID2 is definitely worth watching!! But the spirit of the show (the mutual appreciation etc.) is totally lost!!! Instead to showcasing some beautiful performances, the focus is more on putting down the constants, unnecessary defending of the contestants by the mentor!!

And last but not the least the infusion of D DRAMA into the show is ruining it completely!!

Talent wise DID2 is great but too much negativity and politics between mentors is killing the positive /enthusiastic spirit of the show !!!

The dancers are up to the standards of season one, but the show itself isnt...

thats because there are more of Geeta's contestants and Remo has totally lost his shine..Terrance is the only one whose good and taking DID seriously.

The dances don't look very interesting and eye catching either!
I really miss DID 1!!
Zara Nach Ke Dikha and Nach Baliye at least has some dance in it!
DID just ruins the whole dance with the WOW factor and stunts!

I read an article that they are feeding chhole bhatturay to all the contestants before the filming of the show and that is affecting their performances this year.

agree... too much emphasis is on the wow factor and stunts (especially aerial acts!) and not dance itself...

Personally, I also think as Sashh said, that talent-wise, DID 2 is definitely better. But somehow the connection is lost. I don't get as excited to watch performances and waiting DID time like I used to last season. Heck, they're showing DID season 1 right now out here on the local channel, and each Saturday I get so excited just by the thought of it. We start each Monday at school with discussing the performances shown and Terence's clothes! 😆 That's how addictive Season 1 was. That bit is lost for sure!
