Geeta ma very well done

I really liked both her choreographies today.

May be becoz they have seen it in the National television with the the same song, same costume & choreography done by Mini (geeta MAA's assistant). Before GKG fans pounce over me I would request them to plz go through this thread!

It's definately not the same choreography, UV lights concept n the Krishna concept has been done before, that doesn't make it a copy.

I quiet agree with what Terence and Remo said regarding the Kalia and Krishna act.. I think they did get the comments they deserved, or maybe some parts were edited..

We never really know whats going on...
with the promos regarding Terrence/Binny/Kruti
it's obvious their comments are most of the time edited to look a certain way.

But I should admit that I loved Binny and Amrita's performance today..! Today all of 'em were really good, another pleasant episode after a long time ! Afterall it's gotto be, since the episode was of our own, Indian based.. 😃

In the video I watched they got all good reviews from Remo ad Terence 😕 did I watch an edited version??

Seems like last yr Geeta maa didnt hv this concept in her mind.....

While such acts on our Indian Gods and Goddess with special effect of lights have been done by Mini in DPL...and from what i have seen here during the rehearsals we happen to see Mini accompanying Geeta Maa almost every time but edited e'time only the time we saw Mini was mocking the voice of Binny...

From what i see this concept have originated from Mini's mind only but since Geeta is the choreographer here....we dont happen to see....Geeta Maa doesn't seem to work solo like Remo or Terrance...she has other good choreographer who actually deserves to be acknowledged for the classical choreography

Amar and Shakti won the POTD award - it was edited out in the U.S. show. I dont know why.

I liked all acts today, from all three teams, and for me all acts were more or less at the same level, and should be judged based on the difficulty level for the contestants and not on the choreography as they all had great choreography and concepts today. In GKG, I liked Amrita-Binny act more than Kishore-Dharmesh act. Sorry, for me it;s just an art form and I dont judge it based on the characters being portrayed but based on how the dancers performed. In that aspect, the girls were 10 times better. Even Tashu did a great job as Sita, and Punit was amazing as Ravan when he is not even a classical dancer. All of them except Amrita and Tashu stepped out of their comfort zone today and hats off to all...

I didnt think Kishore-D act was totally outstanding.. At the end part, it was so clear that Kishore was standing on top of a box tower and dancing, when they were supposed to bring the effect of him dancing on top of Kalia's head... I wish they had the synchronization there and it would have been awesome to watch. They definitely did not deserve the double grand salute when others had performed better, including GKG girls... Ah well, Dada gives biased salutes to D!!

Mithun Duh was bias towards Remo last yr and he is clearly biased towards Geeta this season....So what is new?
