Actresses are not prostitutes: Dia Mirza

Dia Mirza is a perfect combination of beauty and brain. This beautiful actress has been linked with most of her costars - be it Imraan Hashmi, Kunal Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and now Hum Tum Aur Ghost costar Arshad Warsi. Dia finally decided to speak about it.

Recently a tabloid reported about Dia's close friendship with her costar Arshad Warsi during the shoot of Hum Tum Aur Ghost. Reacting to it Dia said, "When I'm asked what I feel about being linked up with my costars, I've only one thing to say, actresses are not prostitutes."

Upset with the link-up stories, Dia says, "I'm a tough kid and not easily perplexed. It's human to react. I'm not standing on a moral pedestal saying that, but I admit it sickens me when idle minds create hurtful stories to sell their tabloids!" She signs off.

Now this is the right attitude. I am so sick of the actresses not speaking up when they are being linked with every co star. About time and Way to go Dia.

well i will 100% agree with dia about ppl thinks that if a woman is in this proffession she must be loose but aisa nahi not five fingers are same aur yeh main sirf dia k liye nahi but on behalf of on all the actress saying that not all are the same b town mein it doesn't mean they are heartless guyz😕who knows parday ke peeche what happens?do we know them are their lives are some reality show of 24 hour not so how can we judge them?well said dia👏👏👏

When she played the role of a prostitute she said that actors are like prostitutes (male or female) because they give their body & soul to the characters they play and they're kinda the "toys" of the director or producer....

i'm sure Dia won't do anything for a role that's perhaps why she's not a A list actress...

Both male & female actors are treated like prostitutes...that's such a hypocritical statement from a former Queen Beauty --- with all the business men/actors/producers she met and who proposed her to sleep with them - she still comes up with BS to appear integre and dignified.....

And the worst of it it's that young girls listen and look up to her......

To get into BW or any Film industry --- principles don't help you....it's connections and compromises which help you to reach heights ---

They really think people are stupid ...pfffffffffff

I think there is a difference between acting and real life...and i agree with what both rani and dia said...dia's view is about personal life and rani's view is about professional life. Both true if ya think about it....(:

@ bold : i agree watever u said...i've seen cases of fashion industry nd it's disgust me like n e thing...be it film or fashion industry both frm outside its all goody,glamurous but frm inside its all 🤢
