Do we realise before the masters?

Something interesting we saw today. Finally Punit was acclaimed in a solo. Properly acclaimed for what he danced alone. Finally Kunwar was praised in a solo. Both got a standing ovation. 👏


Masters keep saying then and again about how they love some as performers, how some are their favourites and so on. Yet those two who hardly got those praises for their own solos were the two best today, according to mass opinion. Yet again, some have been saying forever on this forum about how underrated Punit and Kunwar are! I was one of them for instance. So the question is, do the masters sometimes get amazed by some of the contestants, and end up becoming biased, while other, more deserving candidates get sidelined. Namely Kruti, Kunwar and Punit in my opinion. By the audience as well as by the masters. Do we need less candidates to be there so that we can see them getting good choreography and wonderful praise?


Just wanted to know your opinion. This is not entirely mine for sure. Just a thought that flashed through my mind. Since I don't think Terence ever underestimated Kunwar for example. He was always given chances of doing mind blowing choreography. 😃


P.S You'll excuse me but I can't call Kunwar... Amar. I just love Kunwar the name too much! 😳😆

I have never seen an untrained dancer do so well with competition like this!

All the others are trained right?

Boy, Im glad kunwar finally gets some due recognition & so does puneet, 😃😃😃 I think both these boys were way too underrated...u know actually its good that they are getting praise now..now is the time u want them to get recognized....so that they can go to the final...

I think Binny isn't. But she never reached Kunwar for me, even just amongst the girls. But then, when you've got likes of Shakti and Kruti until now there, I think it's obviously going to be tougher too. But otherwise, yes I think he's the only one. The reason why he does not stop amazing me! 😃


You bet, I haven't either. He's stupendous times 5. Especially amongst the herd of talented, trained dancers they've got!

becoz if the get applauses now..then that means hopefully ppl will vote them & take them to the next week ( again hopefully 😕) ... i really want to see kunwar in the final....this guy has been churning out beautiful perffrmances week after week without any drama/hype/emotional issue/whatever else ....terence is truly a good teacher....I wish I had a teacher like him

You said the word, hopefully. I cannot do anything else except hoping the audience are going to vote. Like I said to Akku in the other thread. No matter who decides, Zee or the audience, I just hope they realise what they'll be losing if they lose the likes of Kunwar and Punit!

The two most underrated dancers on this show finally got some recgonition! :) I think a mentor/guru always knows how much potential their student has but i wasn't sure remo realised what a great dancer Puneet is because initally in the first few episodes, he was given nothing special. Kunwar has done a lot though, I think it is just because he performs with shakti that he gets overshadowed a little.

I'm gald that FINALLY the two are given enough comments and praise, they deserve.. 😊

I have always said that I want to see Amar and Punit in top 4 at least, if not in the top 3 finale (if they are having only 3 for the finale this time)... And I havent seen Terence putting down either one of them and has always said good words about both of them... Even Remo hasnt said bad about them. In the bheegi bheegi duet act, Terence specifically praised Amar and said he was more outstanding in that... Then many times their comments are edited out, and I wish they dont edit the good and valuable comments out such that it works better for some dancers while dancers like Amar and Punit have to suffer at the cost of less air time...

Terence is so right about Amar -- that he was a black stone from a mine at the audition level and how he is turning into a beautiful diamond after it has been polished... 👏 ⭐️ 👍🏼

I am very happy for the two of them though and they both deserve to go far in this competition. (along with my other favourite-shakti!)

I have always been in minority. I always like Kunwar more than Shakti on technicallity, clarity and crispness. And today other could saw his clarity because of solo performance. Truthfully Amar should come in top 2 along with Punit considering versatility, clarity, technicality aspects. Lekin junta like one dimensional maha pakao dancers.
