Lovely way to sum it all up Kasturi. I can't but agree with almost entirely everything you wrote about.

It's high time they decide to give each contestant their due for me. As you said, it's not because one is a Dharmesh or a Shakti that his/her dance cannot be criticized. That's why I kind of like Remo's professionalism when he's fair. It's same for everyone, or nothing for anyone. He said it for Shakti, and he didn't mind saying it for Dharmesh either. Just that he got ripped apart by Geeta later on is another matter. Thumbs up to him for that!

Secondly, they are near to almost behaving like animals if you ask me. Where are the mentors that used to agree with each others words practically EACH time last season. Where are the unsaid words of understanding I could see flowing between them even before all of them had finished commenting. Competition is great yeah, but how far are they going to go with this overprotective attitude? I love Terence actually, used to think he wouldn't do it at least, but he's going there too nearly each time now. Why does one need to give excuses for a dance? Can't condemn him totally though, if Remo and Geeta are going to jump at him each time there's a slight mistake, and ignore or counterattack him when he corrects their students, he's obviously going to play their game!

However, I think relationships evolve in a show. One does get really attached, even if I also think calling someone a brother after mere weeks is justified enough. Still, I personally love watching the flow of love they have for each other. Used to love it last season anyway. Geeta-Siddhesh, Remo-Salman, Terence with practically anyone of his last four. You used to feel it, because it was sincere to the eyes and heart. This time round the connection just doesn't get through for me. The only pair I really smile watching is Terence-Shakti, because it's obvious he loves her ( as a Guru of course) The rest seems just too overprotective, ostentatious to seem true enough to me. It all seems they have to be so because they are in the show together. If it's really not like this though, no complains. Just my POV.

Lovely topic once again,

Sneha

@KasturiLover,
excellent post. love every bit of it. :)
this season all this drama seems to have gone past the limit. I personally nowadays keep skipping the mentor's comments and GM's comments too and just watch the dance. Geeta needs to b told by the producers that her negativity is not doing well for the show. while watching her comment on Amarjeet(promo for this friday), i felt that she had to forcefully try and say something good for him or even smile.
:)
