So I noticed that no one was able to put up an update yesterday, and I was busy myself, so here it is, I apologize got the lateness.
-Recap-
The pundit lusts after Jamunia. During that Pooja, a Mareli bird flies overhead and the pundit says that someone made the Pooja impure. Ramlali burns Jamunia's leg with a hot iron rod.
-House-
The scene continues, and Jamunia is shrieking with pain but the rest of the family is standing around and watching with delight. Ramlali says that the more she (Jamunia) cries, the better the rest of them will feel. Jamunia pleads to Bodhan about the pain, and Bodhan drags her outside of the house and says that when the cold sets into the night, she will get relief. Batori says that there is some wild beast around [I don't know what she was talking about, my Hindi isn't that good] and everyone is about to go inside, when Jamunia pleads again, but she is pushed aside and everyone goes inside the house leaving Jamunia looking scared and pleading [This was a bit pathetic, she's crying and banging on the doors and pleading, and she's just being ignored]. It's cold and Jamunia is shivering, trying to soothe her burning leg, and crying.
-Morning-
Batori comes outside and sees Jamunia sleeping against the wall and wonders if she's dead. When Jamunia wakes up, Batori asks her why she was pretending to be dead [Batori is obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer] and Jamunia says that the pain didn't let her sleep all night, and she could also hear the animal, Batori says that it's unfortunate that the animal didn't carry her away, and she leaves.
Jamunia wobbles into the house and is about to pick up a jug to drink water, Ramlali stops her and says that she was about to make that jug impure too. Jamunia says that she was thirsty, so Ramlali pours some water for her and asks her is she knows why all this is happening to her, it's because there's been something wrong with her since birth, she was born unlucky, she killed her parents, and now is after her mama's life. Jamunia asks for forgiveness, and Ramlali says that if Bodhan survives, then she'll be forgiven, if not, she will go to hell, and leaves from there, leaving Jamunia crying [When Jamunia was asking for forgiveness, for a second, it almost looked like Ramlali might have a heart, but, I guess not]
-Forest-
Badhan is walking through the forest singing when he sees a calf grazing; he looks around and is happy to see that he's all alone, and decides to steal the calf because he can make a lot of money from it. He sweet talks the calf and tries to drag it away, but after a lot of struggle, the calf head butts him in his stomach[I guess this was supposed to be a funny scene with the ridiculous music, but Bodhan's expressions make it worth a watch]
-Chutki's Home-
Chutki comes into her house with some dishes and her mother asks her why she came back with dirty dishes. Chutki says that Jumina didn't come by the river today, so she also returned without washing the dishes because she got worried because of the extreme punishment she was supposed to get. Chutki's mother gets worried too, wondering what will happen now.
-Village-
The men of the village are carrying an unconscious Bodhan on a cot, to his house, wondering what happened to him. When Ramlali sees Bodhan, she instantly says that Jamunia consumed her mama too and starts crying and hits Bothan's chest a few times and he suddenly wakes up, shocking everyone.
The villagers ask Bodhan what happened, why he was lying in a ditch, but he doesn't want the villagers to know what he did, so he makes up a story that he was trying to save a calf lying in the ditch, but the calf ran away and he fell. When Ramlali is taking Bodhan into the house, she rants about what other problems might come on their head just because of an unlucky girl. Jamunia hears this and feels bad and begs Ramji to not punish her mama for her own mistake [This was so sad. She was totaly determined to take the punishment for what she did on her own head]
-Temple-
The pundit is praying when another pundit tells him that Ramlali is here to see him. He warns Ramlali that the future will be filled with even more problems, and Ramlali begs for some solution, because he almost died. The pundit says that it's inevitable and he blames Ramlali herself because she showed pity towards that paapan (Jamunia). Ramlali assures that she left no stone unturned to make sure Jamunia was punished severely with a burning iron rod. The pundit says that fate didn't accept this punishment, and Ramlali asks for some solution.
The pundit pictures Jamunia in his head and he tells Ramlali that death is closing in on Bodhan and the only option now, but it is difficult to carry out.
~Break~
Ramlali assures the pundit that she'll do anything to save her husband's life. The pundit instructs that she must sacrifice her motherhood by donating Jamunia to some mandir, because only in the service of god will Jamunia become rid of her sins. Ramlali wonders what mandir will Jamunia and her terrible luck, and the pundit assures her that wherever Jamunia goes, her terrible fate will follow her, but he says that he will take her him. Ramlali is thankful, and the pundit has a creepy grin/smirk on his face, thinking about Jamunia.
-House-
Jamunia is on the roof, trying to somehow soothe her burn. Ramlali comes with a plate of food and a balm, while Bodhan, Lakhan, and Shivkali watch from downstairs. She acts all sweet and loving. Pretends to be shocked at how deep Jamunia's wound is and Jamunia is surprised. Ramlali says that she has mamta in her heart for her, which is why she raised her, and she only punished her because it was necessary.
Jamunia assures her that the wound doesn't hurt, and anyway, Vodhan's life is more important than her wound, and she would be willing to walk through fire if it meant that Bodhan got to live [not that he would deserve it]. Ramlali says that now there won't be problems for anyone in the house and that everything will be okay now, and Jamunia is confused but happy. Ramlali puts the balm on her wound and Jamunia gets emotional seeing her mami care for her.
