I agree the age difference itself is not a problem and neither is marrying at 20, but being 20 and marrying a 35 year old with a 14 yrs (specially divorced) age gap is quite questionable. Honestly if I had a younger sister who is twenty and wanted to marry someone between 21-28 I would be okay. On the other hand if I had a sister who is 25 or older I wouldnt mind if she married someone who is 37 or 38 because at 25 she will be a lot surer, would probably have done more with her career and also the age difference kind of diminishes as you grow older.

Thats not the only issue, there is no real chemistry between them and one has never even been in a relationship and the other has had a failed marriage. Agreed that she probably had to grow up before her age because of losing her dad so young but then if that was the case I would expect her to be more pragmatic. On one hand she is so chui mui si, innocent, inexperienced in love and on the other hand she is very mature, politically correct. Earlier on the show she was very calm, composed, sort of detached and from the Delhi episode she became a very emotional person. It's all very contradictory. Because Dimpy has always been fake and still remains to be and Nikunj too has been arrogant from day one. That is why I feel Harpreet is the one who has played her cards well.

IGNORANCE IS A BLISS.....her last name is Chhabra because she is using her family name as her last name.
KAUR - as mom's last names - It was given by tenth Guru of Sikhs as a last name for every female who was born to a Sikh parent. It means princess as each girl born to a Sikh parent is nothing lesser than a princess. It was also chosen to eliminate the caste system as each woman will have same last name.
SINGH - given by Tenth Guru again for all men. it means Lion as Sikhs were warriors. All Sikh men are suppose to have same last name so that they all will be treated equally.
In Sikhism, there is no caste system and therefore all men were instructed to use Singh as their last name and all women were instructed to use Kaur as their last names.
In these days, a lot of people use their family names as their last names and use Singh or Kaur as their middle names (e.g Gill, Sandhu, Kang, Dhillon, Bedi, Cheema etc). I bet you that Harpreet's middle name is Kaur.
I am hoping that u read it and next time you have an answer.

At this time, most of the countries/people are in war due to religious differences. i think it is very beneficial to brush up our knowledge about other religions as well as our own. Religions are suppose to unite people, not make differences.
