During the "kudi da pyo" sequence where the fathers of the brides were called forward to dance, Harpreet got very emotional remembering her own father and broke down...I felt that Dimpy's Dad getting up to give Harpreet a hug and consoling her as well as patting her Mom's shoulder was a very beautiful gesture. Then Dimpy too gave Harpreet a tight hug....pretty nice IMO.

Though I really like the way Dimpy's family has behaved throughout the show but for today its KUDOS to Dimpy's Dad...for him it may have been a small gesture but it was a beautiful one nonetheless and would hopefully have brought some comfort to Harpreet and her Mom.

I'm sure much of the show is scripted but this was something that was spontaneous, thoughtful and heartfelt...the cameras moved on and didn't really dwell on this but I feel its something that definitely deserves a mention!! I guess its true that sometimes the saddest and most trying of moments also bring out the best and most beautiful in people...

So true, I found him adorable too. To begin with I never used to like Dimpy but after seeing her parents I have really starting liking her as well. Dimpy's mum as well is so sweet and dignified. When I saw the Kolkata episode I thought how can such parents have such silly girls? But now I feel Koel is quite sweet and innocent although I still think Dimpy is very fake. But even Dimpy is more of a wild child and she is not chalu or anything.

Yes! I really like the Ganguly family. Even Koel had said they are all my didis so anyway Rahul will be me jeeja. And Dimpy's mom had praised Nikunj at either mehndi/sangeet (I forget which function) saying that she looked most beautiful. Very warm people. I think they have developed a fondness for the Chhabras because during 'nache kudi di maa', Harpreet's mom dragged Dimpy's mom to dance and they both danced.. it was sweet. I like Harpreet's mom and brother too.

i completely completely agree with both u guys.. i wasnt a fan of Dimpy till she went to Kolkata too.. and when i saw her crying and stuff i thought maybe she aint that fake and now prolly she does want to get married towards the end of it. I love Koel.. yes she talks a lot but she is a complete sweetheart.. and I LOVED Dimpy's dad and the way he comforted both mother and daughter and the way Dimpy went and tightly hugged Harpreet it was very very sweet even though something small..

I AGREE. IN FACT I LIKE DIMPY TOO VERY MUCH. WHATEVER HER PAST MAY BE. RAHUL HAS A WORST PAST. BUT ON THE SHOW DIMPY HAS MAINTAINED HER DIGINITY, SHE SPOKE HONESTLY, NEVER BITCHED ABOUT ANYONE. SHE ONLY EXPRESSED HER FEELINGS ALWAYS. SPOKE TO THE POINT WITHOUT HURTING OR INSULTING ANYONE.
AND I LIKED HOW SHE CRIED FOR THE FIRST TIME REVEALING HOW MUCH SHE PLANNED FOR RAJUL'S VISIT TO KOLKATA AND WAS HOPING THAT THINGS SHOULD GO WELL. MAY BE HER FAMILY WAS NOT THAT SUPPORTIVE TILL THAT TIME.
WHETHER THEIR MARRIAGE WILL LAST OR NOT IS A DESTINY. BUT SHE IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER TWO AT THE MOMENT.SHE HAS TRUE FEELINGS FOR RAHUL.
