I am sure we will have lots of answers in tonight's episode. anyways coming to yesterday's episode:

-Datta was back to his gentleman behavior. Did anyone notice the smile on the faces of the oldies(Babi, Aai, Sups parents) when he touched Sups father's feet?

*raises hand eagerly* I DID!! I DID!! They were sending such approving smiles Dutta's way - it was kinda sweet! 😆

-Datta and Sethji...I dunno why I feel Datta smiles with his eyes when it comes to Sethji. He likes this precocious kid...who is very naughty but wants to be a man quickly. Also as Fivr says after speaking to Sethji Datta was sure that Naku has been avoiding him.

So it wasn't just me who thought Dutta was smiling at Sethji - not a full out 32-teeth smile. But a more subtle and likeable smile. 😃 Oh and I like this "precocious" kid too!! 😆

-For a big man Datta walks silently...she didnt hear him come. Did anyone notice how his expression softened when he saw her...he seemed glad to finally catch a glimpse of her.

Pyaase ko hi kunwey k paas ana parha, because kunwa was busy cleaning a dusty fan blade! 😆

-I liked Datta's apology...straight and simple...no bahanas...no beating abt the bush. thats datta! he's man enuf to admit is mistakes...no excuses!

And I LOVED it! *sigh* 😆

-Naku thinking that he will hit her again...aww...poor girl! I think till his roar the previous day though naku knew her limitations wrt datta she also felt even if he doesnt connect to her at the man-woman level...he connects to her at a human level. for her he was never datta bhao the powerful gangster and but he was datta sahib the man who may look stern and forbidding but is really a softie at heart. she didnt really believe her mother's words that for him she is just a maid to be pitied. but after his visciousness yesterday she felt that all her mother said was proved right. thats when datta became datta bhao to her from datta sahib. and thats why she shrank away from him sure it was beast in datta bhao calling her and after yesterday she didnt have the strength to take it all again. I dont think she was really scared he wud beat her...rather she was scared that he would hurt and by hurt i mean the emotional hurt he caused her.

You noticed that too!?!?!?! So it wasn't just my mind playing tricks on me! I kept think she looks scared and it "seems" that she's scared that he might hit her but I don't see that!!!

-I think Datta came to meet Naku with the determination to do all he could to make up for his behavior till he had reassured her that he was still the same datta sahib to her and not datta bhao. She didnt really want to know what made him behave the way he did....but HE wanted to tell her. he wanted her to UNDERSTAND...he didnt want her to shrink away from him like others do. point to be noted he didnt bother to do this with sups who is also obviously shrinking away from him.

Agree, agree, agree! And I really love how Nakku's special - more than his bride-to-be (NOT!). 😃

EXACTLY what i think also, fivr. It's like the pot calling th ekettle black 😡 At least her heart is pure though, even if her face is covered with hideous makeup. But even his heart is full of contempt. He seems like a really annoying and chaploos kind of person. He'll be nice to you one minute and then when it's time to act, he'll save his own ass and leave you hanging. 🤢

Exactly! So he isn't even at the same level as Nakku. He's much lower! And he has the audacity to be a jerk about it! 🤢

A little thing I noticed - Dutta really does not leave any chance to come close to Nakku, does he? 😉 He comes and stands right next to her when he walks in. And then, as she turns around, he walks right up behind her. We knew he never felt the need to ask before touching her (nor does he need to) - now it's like he can't help but try to be near her too. In fact, when she walks away he asks her to "come here". *sigh*

OMG! I know! What's so adorable is the way he doesn't even yet realize why he wants to be close to her. It's like they lay claim to each other without even thinking about it. Haq se haath pakadta hai, even though there is no real relation between them. But on the other hand, (no pun intended lol) he doesn't even touch Supriya because his heart is not in that relationship 👏

It's only natural that he would drag Nakku out like she's his property. *sigh* Why am I not surprised? These two show such authority on each other, it's unbelievable. And what's even more unbelievable is that the other person SUBMITS willingly. So it's not like they force themselves on each other - but rather are accepted with open arms.

Preach it sister. Sing it from the rooftops.

When Dutta tells Nakku to sit in the car, I love how she glances at Baji for confirmation. His opinion obviously matters and she knew he'd be concerned. So it was almost like an "I'll be okay" look that she gave to Baji. *sigh* I LOVE their relationship! 😃

I knew you would notice that! I loved how she looks at him as if asking him and telling him Main jaon (?) and Baaji doesn't know whether to agree or disagree. In the ned he knows he can't stop his Bhao heheh.

Yeah, he was telling him "main jaon?" and also letting him know, if i do go I'll be fine! 😃

BUt yesterdays' epi i felt was so laden. It was not resigned to fate.. Thats my opinion. There was too much going on there but you have hit most everything that i noticed too and aptly.

You know, I felt that too! It felt like there was so much people wanted to say, do and/or ask. But they just couldn't... There was this "burden" through out the episode - burden of being a horrible person (Dutta to Nakku), burden of having hurt someone (Both Tasha to each other), burden of doing the right thing (I felt that was Baabi and Baji). And then the burden of the past. So yes, I agree! It was very laden. But I just felt that OVER ALL - as a result of such supressed emotion (pain, hurt, guilt) - it felt really resigned. Like the "burden" was just making it so much harder to fight back.. and I could be totally off here! 😆

Just wanted to add that i found the most interesting part that Dutta tells Nakku in the room "You want to know why i behaved the way i did..you want to know right"... its was to me the most exciting revelation of Dutta bhau. He never clearly says that he needs something. Those around him that love him usually are left to assume things about him and usually its Baaji who most accurately recognizes what Dutta needs. And recently Nakku has started to show those signs though she confuses herself sometimes between what she wants and what Dutta wants.
But yesterday when Dutta burst out saying that he will tell her the reason for his strange behavior.. it was his need to let her know. And that was a first.

Absolutely agree with everything you just said - and definitely agree with it being HIS need to let her know (not HER need to know).

Because i remember him telling Nakku once when he asked her why More was after her and she felt uncomfortable sharing it, he told her that she doesn't have to share if she doesn't want to as he too has secrets he doesn't share.
His secret we know now is the pain he hides inside himself. But he is sharing that with Nakku now.. because he needs to. He wants to as probably only Nakku will understand the true depth of it. Maybe he is challenging her.. because she told him that it wasn't hard to say good bye to your pain and move on.. maybe he is showing her that it infact is too hard for him and maybe if she understood the depth of it she'd help him find a way to say good bye to it.

Yeah! He did look like he was anticipating an answer from her when he was asking her whether she knew what pain he suffered from, at the "place". It was as if he was asking her to tell him she did so she could also help him out of it! *sigh* Poor guy, really. That is just so painful...

I am sure when at the riverbank he asked her "do you know what pain is" as in implying that she could possibly not have any idea what he endured, at the same time he must be hoping unconsciously that she comes back and says to him that she does know what he is going through and there is a way out and he doesn't need to be this miserable... that he too can find his happiness again.

I think thats what this confession is all about. and i am loving it so much. And yes i love this show for all the reasons you've mentioned. The only fear i have is that once the characters are all set adn the love story starts this will become a typical saas-bahu yar nanand-bhabi fighting story and the male characters who come out so powerful against the female characters right now will be relegated to the background. That will be unbearable. So i'll watch it while it lasts.
