Part 1
KK is outraged @ Poonam's outburst, and tells her that he won't tolerate anybody being regarded as step-relatives. Dadi tells Poonam that nobody has done for the family as much as Jyoti has, and gives her a long lecture on Jyoti's contributions towards the upbringing of her sisters & brother. She tells Poonam that had it not been for Jyoti, Deepu may still have been a gambler and a drunk. She then orders Deepu to take her back to her maayka. Jyoti appeals to her not to, saying that it's easy to destroy relationships, but hard to build them. Poonam leaving wouldn't be a solution to the problems. She'd have to be taught the significance of all her relationships. And that job is nobody's responsibility but Deepu's. She also tells Deepu that if he couldn't convince her, that would be his defeat. Deepu apologizes to her, and tells her this won't happen a second time. 👏👏 Poonam is shocked to hear that.
Later, Jyoti asks KK whether she can use his typewriter. KK tells her that she's been working all day, and if she works all night, she'll again fall sick. He tells her that he'll type for her, since his speed is better. Jyoti tells him that she doesn't know what she's about to type, and so she'd type slowly, and one day, she'd be faster than him. KK wishes her well.
In the other room, Poonam is on the phone w/ her dad, and appealing to him to take her back. Her dad asks her if she said anything, and reminds her that he never scolds her, and asks her to tell him whatever she said, even if by mistake. She tells him that she was angry and in her anger, called Jyoti-didi a step sister. Mahesh-ji is shocked, and asks her why? He then asks about it, since this is new to him as well, and Poonam tells him that she too only found out today, and wonders why everyone was angry when she mentioned it? She tells him that she can't figure out anybody's mood. Mahesh-ji tells her that she shouldn't talk to anybody like this. He asks her what Sandeep must be thinking of her, and Poonam tells him that he too is pissed @ her. Mahesh-ji agrees, and says that of course he'd feel bad about this. Poonam is shocked that her father too is taking their side. He tells her that he's always on her side, but to listen to him carefully. 👏👏
Part 2
Mahesh-ji tells Poonam that regardless of who's on her side or not, her hubby should always be on her side. She should never piss him off. If Sandeep is on her side, then only will she be happy. He then tells her to go and apologize to him. She tearfully agrees. 👏👏👏
She then goes to the terrace and joins Deepu, and concedes her fault, and apologizes to him. She tries to tell him that she was never in such a big family, and they never had such customs in her home. She tells him that when she talked to her dad, he too scolded her. Hearing this, Deepu turns to her and asks whether she had anything else to add? She tells him that she hoped he didn't mind her talking to her dad, but if he did, he could forbid her. She tells him that one of her dad's friends had a good job in a company available for him, but Deepu declines. He doesn't want to take any favors from his in-laws. He is happy w/ his current job, just got a promotion last month and will continue to get promoted. Poonam agrees, and tells him that it's just a suggestion, and asks him if he's still angry?
Inside, Jyoti is in her room typing, and spends much of the night and several attempts. After a while, she puts together something and reads it, and writes about herself, her identity and similar issues. After reading it, she falls asleep right there, and Sushma comes and covers her w/ her blanket, shuts off her light and closes the door.
Next morning, she brings her tea, and notices the article, and asks if she can read it? Jyoti allows her, and Sushma reads it and tells her that she has absolutely mirrored her thoughts, which she can't express. Jyoti tells her that nobody can, and she just put them in words. When Sushma points out that she hasn't written her name beneath it all, she puts it back and types it. Sushma then tells her that she too wants to do something to contribute to the family. Jyoti tells her that she's thought of something.
At her new office, her interviewer has met Jyoti and Kalpana, and is impressed by her work, telling her that she writes better than she promised. He tells Jyoti that every week, he wants such an article for his paper. Each article will be worth Rs 5000, payable @ the end of the month (effectively doubling Jyoti's salary) He pays her for the article right there.
Jyoti goes back to her lender and gives her Rs 2000. He isn't happy about the partial payment of Rs 5000, but Jyoti tells him that she'd pay him the balance next week. When they go out, Kalpana asks her why she didn't pay the full thing, since she had the money, and Jyoti tells her that she wanted to get a honeymoon ticket for Deepu. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Part 3
Jyoti gives Deepu honeymoon ticket to Mt Abu. Deepu protests, but Jyoti tells him that these fights are routine, and that his wife is entitled to gifts from her SIL. She tells Deepu that Poonam is a kid, and that she hasn't taken her comments to heart, and to forget about it.
Deepu goes to Poonam and shows her the tickets for the honeymoon, and Poonam is happy that it's for Mt Abu. Padma thanks Jyoti, while Dadi asks how long will they be gone? She too congratulates Jyoti for sending them off. Padma asks if they've already started packing - there's still time before that. Deepu comes out and tells Jyoti that he can't accept the gift. 👏👏👏 Jyoti asks him why, and the scene ends on her face. 👎🏼👎🏼

Jyoti calls Kalpana and tearfully tells her that she needs her help. She asks her to come and pick her up and take her somewhere, and she tells her to keep it a secret from her family. However, on the other side of the room, KK is overhearing this conversation.

An excellent episode, w/ all the recommended actions as far as Poonam went. Dadi read her the riot act, and when she called her dad, he too, very calmly, but very firmly, gave it to her. At the end of it all, she was left apologizing to Deepu. I just wish she had gone ahead and apologized to Jyoti and Sushma as well, and things would have been even better. And I liked Deepu telling her that he wasn't going to take any favors from her relatives. I personally think Mahesh-ji's lecture was excellent, and enough to reform Poonam: once she can no longer threaten to return to her maayka, she'll seriously try to work on her marriage, and her relationship w/ her in-laws.
The other good news was Jyoti's article, and the job she got as a result of it. I just wish she had paid off the entire amount, instead of taking out money for the honeymoon. As it is, she had told Padma that it would take time, and clearing debts is a far higher priority than giving your bro a honeymoon. I wonder why they keep putting Jyoti on a pedestal, when she has highly irresponsible spending habits. I am glad Deepu declined the gift - my guess, given how it was shown, was that Poonam declined it both out of contriteness, and also feeling that the family had more important needs than sending them on a honeymoon. The other possible reason is that just as Deepu doesn't want to take money from his in-laws, neither does Poonam. In which case, Jyoti stupidly blew money on the honeymoon instead of paying off the loan.
On her plans for Sushma, my guess is that Jyoti will put her back to school, as shown in a promo last week.

An excellent episode. A little rough @ the start, and I thought it would be the end of Poonam, but it seemed to solve the Poonam problem, as far as I could figure. I'd have given this 5 Thumbs up had Poonam apologized to Jyoti and Sushma. Maybe she still will.
