Tell us something about yourself? "I am from Ajmer, Rajasthan. Later, I moved to Noida where I did my 11th and 12th Standard. In Noida itself, I did my graduation in Commerce. I always wanted to pursue acting and I did some plays during my school days, but I never did theatre and I joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting institute." |

How did you bag the role of Krishna? "It's through auditions only. I came to Mumbai from Noida to audition for this role and through my hard work I got the part which has now become popular among the youth of India, especially in northern India." |

How did your parents react with your decision of turning an actor? "They were slightly worried about my decision because it is not easy for a new comer to stay in Mumbai and now they are happy to see my progress and my show's success." |

What kind of feedback are you getting from this show? "It is positive as all seem to like my character Krishna and his love towards Pratigya. You can see the change in the Northern parts of India, especially in Allahabad and other adjoining areas. The college goers are dressing up like Krishna, which feels great, that my acting is being appreciated by the audiences." |

What do you like about Mumbai city? "It has a busy life and the spirit to work hard. Currently I am staying in Bandra, Mumbai and I really love the lifestyle of the city. Now, I am a Mumbaikar." So then in Mumbai, where do you go for shopping? "I am not a shopping freak but I usually I go to town side especially, Pheonix Mills excites me..." |

Now, a wedding is happening in the show, so do you think Krishna-Pratigya's wedding would happen too? "In daily soaps anything can happen as Angad will try his level best to stop this wedding, so I would like to say please watch Pratigya…" |

Do people at the shopping mall recognize you now? "Yes, they call me Krishna and they support Krishna's love by telling this "Why Pratigya is not understanding your love..." Usko Samjhao ki tum usse kitna pyaar karte ho..." |
