So GeetaMa made Binny dance an Indian classical form.....so she has done her part of making Binny do a classical as she was after Shakti for some time....

If Shakti's was very basic and good attempt, Binny's was a DISASTER...... (I know Manipuri style and if anyone here also knows would certainly agree with me) .....even Amrita is trained in the style, the whole performance was a mismatch...

All the time her face was hidden not able find out the attempt on her face, her hand-foot-body work was so ameteurish, very clear she just learnt it in a week. But........her costume was great....that's the reason Geetama talked more about the costume..what about the dance?

And why I said very clever of Geeta?

1. She puts Binny in a duet where Amrita could cover a lot, unlike Terence who made Shakti do a solo.

2. She selected a song where they can just play with it and can cover the nuances(at least Shakti's was more of a folk-classical based song selection), which Geetama does every time(last season : Aye papi, Jumma Chumma). What a new concept?

I think Geeta Ma is capitalizing on Binny's 'Cuteness' more. Everyone who commented, commented on her attire, on her smile and how cute she looked. The whole performance looked quite off, IMO 😆

She did the same with Dharmeshs Thayyam. She talked about his 50 kg attire more and totally compromized on the dance.

Even I know a bit of Manipuri dance.... Binny was worst.. her wrist movement was not that graceful... the foot work needed to be more graceful & soft. Geeta always chooses that dance which most of the people don't know about resulting in less criticism. Last time it was thayyam, and now Manipuri.

Till now Binny have not attempted neither any pure western dance nor pure indian classical dance except yestaerdays performance which was a complete disaster. she has done salsa.. which was too bollywoodish specially in expressions and terence pointed out her basic flaws in her footwork. And everytime she performs a avg number geeta cries for 10 mins and tag it as kamal, dhamaal, bemisal performance. She is so full of double standards!! 😡

Geeta has double standards! She is biased to her own contestants....has it been even once that she agreed to the faults other judges point out in her contestants' performances, let alone criticize it herself. Atleast Remo is dignified enough to agree if Terrence or Geeta happen to point out any mistakes in his contestants. And I guess I don't even need to mention how admirable is Terrence for this quality of his.

I don't see how I should comment on Geeta as a choreographer itself? I am soo sure most of the performances from her gang are all her team's effort. Doesn't look like she knows much about the technical "stuff" of other forms except the Classical one that she has mastered in.

I apologize for going off tangent above, but I had to let it out.

I dunno why she is being so critical of Shakti (who I'm sure was trying out classical for the first time). It takes years to train in this form so how was Shakti supposed to be absolutely "marvelous" in it in just a few days? Would she say the same thing if Binny was the one doing it? When Binny first did hip hop in 'dance ki kasauti', Geeta was praising her endlessly. And that performance clearly had a lot of faults.

The people who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones at others' homes.

I dont agree. Binny tried a new form of style and thats wat needs to be applauded , and also Binny hasn't repeated the same style in all her dances, she definitely does different styles so thats wat is great about her , doing the same style again and again and getting applauses is not cool according to me !!! 😃

For that sake even Terrence tries to reason out , when Kruti and Kuwar were doing Bhoppuri salsa , and they couldnt perform , he said it was due to the costumes, he should have accepted it that it was a mistake and not try to reason it out. 😃

we all know geeta ma have double standards. yes i know remo doesn't appreciate if somone points out mistakes in his contestants performance but atleast he praises terrence and geeta's contestants if they do somthing good like shakti and dharmesh sir but geeta is threatened by good dancers like shakti nd thats y she keeps pointin out her mistakes while we all kne binny is just a medicore dancer. true shaktis dance in classical wasnt the best but atleast she is great at wht she does contemporary but wit binny she is mediocore in vry dance form.
