NO Way!!Delhi is So Costly even households with double income struggle to live in a Decent place in Delhi.....forget Simmi's Part-Time job fetching her a Flat+some expenses for food clothes etc🤢!

Now that they've Decided to get married n fight all odds..I guess They're Ready to show the World!!

I live in Delhi and am a professor and so am sure that she can certainly at least pay a guest house for a few days or a rent for a small flat with her salary.

Stupid creatives wanted to show RB as a rescuer; so created that stupidity putting in a over-night dhaba incident. There is no other reason for them to stay the night in a Dhaba.
RB is showing up again and again. Looks like creative team has limited resources and constraints on adding new characters in the serial. Otherwise this was the right moment they could show a good friend of Abhi or Simi.
I can not imagine highly educated guys do not have few good friends.

Is it that easy to get a flat/rented place in Delhi? Don't you have to pay 1 year's/10 months rent as advance as in other cities? For a flat we lived in one of the metros, with a rent of Rs.15000/month, we had to pay Rs. 1.5Lakh as advance. This is the norm in that city regardless of what the rent is.

Anyway, there are other more viable options for Abhi & Simi like lodge or Railway waiting areas.

I had known about the Railway waiting areas, but didn't know they were that cheap. Thanks to mesimi's comments in a different thread that I read, I would now confidently go and stay in the Railway Yatri Nivas if ever I get into any such situations.

If one is taking up a new job, usually company pays the house advance and deducts later in monthly instalments
