Why does Terence not give Shakti good perormances?

Shakti is a great dancer but Terence does not give her any stunning performances. Why?

I agree with Ishan. .. Shakti's performance today was MINDBLOWING ! She outshined Amar in a few sections - but that's my POV.. both of them were fab today.. 😳 and Shakti's performance yesterday was good too.. but today's was just brilliant.. I hope to see such a routine again..😍 Best choreography - routine.. after a long time..

I guess in todays episode, Dance wise Shakti & Amar were better than Punit and Saajan, and deserve the best performance award! Watever thats my POV.

What we saw in episode aired in US all 3 judges had positive comments but when I saw preview links Terence was about to point out Negative with Positive which Mithun Duh stopped him...Kruthi was shocked her expressions were of confused and sad at that moment...almost disbelief...

^^ Yes Varshaji, Kruti was excellent in her solo on Friday - and her performance kinda made me think that once classically trained dancer can achieve an expertise in any dance form but not other way round may be.......... ( generally speaking - ofcourse there are/can be exceptions )
Even I am not sure what Terence wanted to point out as well..... 😕

Though this thread is about Shakti, I see some comments regarding Kruti, so I will comment on that first. That part was shown in the promo video but they edited it out from the actual airing. If you watch Kruti's act carefully again, she stumbled a bit while sliding off the table to the floor. Terence mentioned about points to IMPROVE, and NOT negative points. Kruti was superb today, and I wish my eyes didnt catch that small mishap, else I would have given her 10/10 for her act. Because I saw it, I made it 9.75 in my rating. 😃

Now coming to Shakti - Terence has given so many wow performances that she has bagged the POTD award the most number of times than anyone in DID-2!! People were complaining that Terence is giving her great choreography but not to Kruti... Which side to believe now?! I am sure Terence knows the caliber of each dancer very well and will be giving each one the kind of work that they can do well and would suit then better. Also as a choreographer, he would like to see his act being performed perfectly on stage and so he has to make sure who can do that for each of his act.. He made Shakti do classical because Geeta has been whining and asking for Shakti to do a classical for a couple of weeks now, and so he considered her request. Though I wish Geeta kept the same scale when she measured the performances of her contestants versus the rest!

The statement imho is not true, the choreography was fitted to suit Shakti so that she could carry off the 'much taunted about' classical piece. It is very difficult for an untrained classical dancer to learn moves in a short span of weeks....
