All you Shashank Haters..Rejoice!!!

Its DID's loss really that a dancer like shashank had to bow out so early in the competition! am so disappointed tht people who do mediocre acts go thru purely because of their popularity and technically flawless dancers like shashank hav to go out so soon...i think shashank's performance today was unbelievable..and as tashu perfectly put it..there have been many aerial acts but this one touched my heart..i never imagined i wud actually get choked to see a contestant go but i was..n so was remo! wat can i say..its DID 2's loss...

I only saw the promo of his act, and he did good, but not perfect. He slipped while trying to put his feet into the triangle loop and had to try a few times to get it right - watch it carefully. In other acts, you wouldnt see those kind of slips and they are done with almost near perfection. But I agree that it was really good, but hey, why didnt he do something like that earlier so that he could have obtained some popularity and thus enough votes to stay?? He hasnt given any wow performances so far, and in fact I am happy for him that he left with a great performance so that people will remember him in that act than the mediocre ones he had done before. Just my thoughts. I am not a Shashank fan and I dont think I would have become his fan even if he had stayed - just a matter of personal choice!

hey i suggest in tht case u see the performance n not just bits n pieces..it was a wholesome act..n everybody stood up...including remo and TERRENCE (who said he got goosebumps)...

No one hates Shashank! He is a brilliant dancer! I mean coming to the top 12 on India's number 1 dance reality show is an accomplishment in itself! Each person who leaves the platform leaves as a winner only! He has made a special place in millions of viewers hearts! Every week a contestant has to go. Unfortunately that's the format of the show. Shashank was weak in his last week's performance. I don't know how he did today as the episode hasn't aired here yet. It is not the end for Shashank. He will go a long ways with his dancing career! This was only the beginning! And just think he has made millions of fans all around the world!!! Yes it is def a loss to Remo Ke Rangeley! Its hard to say bye to someone you've spent so much time with! So I bet its really hard for Tashu, Punit, Sajaan, & Remo Sir to say bye to such a hard working, talented dancer! Every week we are going to see more painful eliminations, but that's just the format! But just remember this is only the beginning, not the end! I wish Shashank all the best!

I don't know.. but today, I felt REAL bad for this guy.. 😔 I never liked him at all anytime before neither would I watch his performances properly..

Completely agree with you on this one...vry well put...evn am saying tht shashank was not the best mayb but he did NOT deserve to be eliminated so soon with others warming the benches wit average performances only coz of their popularity..but thts d name of the game..this has been happening since DID 1 so....Zee has already decided d winner so might as well tell us and let us be..but hey if they do tht how wil they make money?

@Rapunzel84 - I'm sorry, but can you name one dancer on the show who's "warming" the bench and does not deserve to be here over Shashank.. it would bring in some clarity with everything that you wrote..

^^^ Who are the ones you are talking about?? Who were the average performers?? Kishore, Punit and all?? But I still think Punit was better than Shashank. Kishore maybe, and he might also be eliminated soon. And I dont think Shashank was better than Shakti, Amar, Kruti, Jack, Dharmesh, Amrita, Binny, Punit, and Tashu. He might be at the same level as some of them, but not better than them - judging by his performances so far on DID stage, as I havent seen any of his dance before or on another stage. Saajan also seems to be as good as Shashank, judging by his performance last week. So it's just Kishore then. But this week Kishore also seems to be very good. But if the public sees and thinks the same way, he would have got enough votes to stay. Why did he fail to impress them or make an impact in their minds? After all he also started in top 18 like all others except Dharmesh who was already popular through BW show...

BTW, I agree with you rapunzel, that his dance was great today and I need to watch the show to know the full impact of it. Like I said before, I am happy that he made a grand exit rather than leaving with no impact at all. Now people will remember him for his act today and would also feel sad for him after seeing that performance...

Shakti's performances have been flawless till date, and the only criticism she was getting was for doing Contemporary - maybe some people overlooked at the comments of judges!!

i dnt understand the need to criticize ny dancer here..dey all r extraordinarily brilliant dancers n all of them deserve to be on DID 2..nobody is here a a charity case or just out of popularity..its just that the format is such nly 1 can win n the rest will be eliminated be it sooner or later..unfortunately in this case shashank had to b the earliest to leave
