Star Plus' prime time show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya is getting ready for Krishna and Pratigya's grand marriage which would happen truly according to the Thakur style (UP style).
An Indya source tells us, "We haven't yet shot the wedding sequences as the production house is working on this grand wedding as the audiences will witness the marriage in a typical UP style with gun shots. The pre-wedding celebrations are Shagun ceremony, then will be Haldi and during the time of Sangeet and Mehndi an interesting twist will happen. The final marriage ceremony would be aired on March 8th.
Further our source tells us, "In UP weddings there is also a dance and considering this there would be a special item dance which will be done by Kashmira Shah and this dance will happen before the pheras. Even actress Pratami Kazmi will see in a positive role."
We spoke to Pooja Gaur aka Pratigya who said, "Yes, very soon audiences would witness the grand wedding of Pratigya and Krishna which will be remembered as the best on-screen wedding on TV. So, the shooting for the pre-marriage preparations would happen either today or tomorrow. I am quite excited for my second on-screen wedding. In the Sangeet ceremony, the two families will come together and Pratigya's family will keep certain conditions in front of Krishna's family. She is not in love with Krishna so with this marriage Pratigya will hate Krishna and she will teach him a lesson, how and when even I don't know."
About the wedding dress she told us, "Ritu Deora has designed my wedding costume."
The wedding rituals will be on air from next week, and witness the marriage of Krishna and Pratigya on March 8th.
