the producers dont have a personal like dislike for any particular contestant... all the contestants are under contract by the respectful shows (once selected... not in auditions...) the producers are playing with heaps of money... if they are gona spend lakhs and lakhs or rupees on these ppl they will make sure they make more than enough back... how they do it... well they have experience + they can tell which contestant will get the blood pumping of fans, or the sms votes pumping... no particular contestant is bidded to win, they just go with the flow... say if from #1 to #12 were all contestants... and there rankings/performance etc was coincidental respective to their numbers so #1 being most fav. and #12 being least fav to win (remem they have seen the potential through auditions + their portfolios (exp etc) and the judges are there too)... say if #7 was supposed to get enough votes to stay at #7 and #12 was to get the least votes to be voted out, however the public voted low for #7 to bring him to 12th place and #12 into 7th place... the show ppl will now kick out #7 from the show (eliminating him) while keeping #12 coz he is now getting lots of votes... now say they got 5 lakh votes in total for this week... say now next week the votes by public came in to justify the rankings... however the total amount of votes dropped and were say 2 lakhs in total for that week guess what, they will eliminate a middle ranked contestant, sacrificing him/her to get public's attention to get them sms voting... so next week they will prob get 10 lakh votes coz ppl will be emotionally pumped to vote to not see their fav's voted out... and similarly the trend goes back and forth... some times u'll see the least talented performer stay on till say top 5 simply coz they were prob getting lots of votes from their region... (or other reasons like teenage girls going nuts for them)... that's another secret why girls bow out of these shows too fast and dont stay on to win... coz most of the viewers are females (and majority of them young adults or teenaged) so them finding that male contestant cute and voting feverishly for him keeps the guys there longer, while for the female contestants, they get the odd vote from the females (who are too busy voting for guys)... plus the male viewers being too little to begin with are too occupied or lazy or just dont care enough to vote while they might enjoy watching them girls perform 😆 ... its sad but its true... hence u see girls not winning much of the reality shows... (the odd girl u see going far is only because once she is the only one left, the females now get ticked off and in comes the girl power and they keep her alive for a little while longer)...
another thing i'd like to mention is did u see when they were choosing WC contestants how no one cried and were laughing or too casual as if they knew already... bhaavna tried to put up the crying act but failed in my view...
