Shahid Kapoor has gifted himself a unique birthday gift, guitar lessons. The Chance Pe Dance actor was keen to learn it for quite a while and now that he has some free time before he starts shooting for his father Pankaj Kapur's film Mausam, he took the plunge last week. He is trying to catch up with his brother Ishaan, who started learning the instrument a month ago.

Meawhile, Rana Daggubati has started learning to play the guitar, as he essays a Goan musician in Rohan Sippy's Dum Maro Dum. The actor claims he has now fallen in love with the guitar and hopes to play it even after he finishes shooting.

Ranbir Kapoor recently learned to play the guitar for Imtiaz Ali's film Rock Star. Saif Ali Khan is the only Bollywood actor who also plays the guitar professionally and even tours with the band Parikrama.
