"Excuse me, oh sorry, coming through.oops my bad, excuse me." She pushed people politely and hurriedly as she was making her way down the stairs. Just to be on safe side she held her long locks with her hand on sideways so she can clearly see where she was going. "arghhhh Yaz ki Bachchi, I am going to kill you if I miss my sub again." She muttered to herself. "Hai Rab g, hey stop stop stop stop, please stop," Running was not something she was best at especially when it comes to subway which is about to take off closing the doors slowly. . Not at all.
"please stop stop," the doors were about to meet each other when she saw a hand stretching out from that little space which was about to disappear. She did not take a chance at all and took that hand praying that hopefully she does not get sliced between the two doors. "I want to die beautiful please Rab g, not sliced up into two pieces. Please" that was the last thought before she felt that hard pull. The doors went shut catching one signle hair out of her hair which blew outwards because of the pull. "Ouch. She held that lil spot by her hand on her head. "Stupid doors, stupid subways and stupid employers who wanted their employees to work on Sunday." She almost yelled at the last sentence without realizing that whole subway was staring at her as if she was some kind of maniac or something. Looking around she understood it is better to keep quiet for a while to back away the undesirable attention from all the passengers.
"Not your day. Is it?" a husky voice whispered close to her ear which made her jump back slightly. those eyes brown eyes no, not brown, the chocolaty brown eyes?" snap out of it already" she scolded her self when she found herself drooling over the muscular figure in front of her. " umm Pardon?" her forehead frowned as she try to look at him all over other than his eyes.
"u ok?" he asked back matching the same expression she had on her face. "Yes fine and thanks for your help." She looked away quickly form him before she officially turned herself into Maniac in his mind by staring at him.
"You are welcome." Was all he said as well. But unlike her he did not quit staring at the average height figure in front of him. She could sense it and it was more awkward than annoying. If it was some one else she would have gave him an embarrasing lecture by now. Like the one she did couple weeks ago. "Moron." She muttered.
"excuse me?" did he heard that right? He did he thought. But b4 he could ask for an explanation about her calling him Moron her phone rang.
"What now Yaz, you know because of you I almost missed my sub, almost got sliced between the two doors and lost a big chuck of my hair, all thanks to you." She yelled in a low voice.
"Boy is she Dramatic or What?" he thought to himself. A little smile appeared across hi face as he listened to her complaining over the phone.
" I am ---- I am sorry ----shona, you noe how I am? I slept i----- I slept in because I was awake----- awake all night ----last night working on my book and---- Ar---maan- Armaan came over for a---- little while and you---- know we went out----- for a walk. And " Yaz tried to explain herself in pieces even though she knew that the crazy women would not hear her excuses at all.
" arghhh no more excuses YAZ. Tujhe to main dekh loongi. Ghar aane de mujhko." She tried to keep herself low but it wasn't helping. She hung up.
" oohhh talking in Hindi huh? she must be very upset or should I say ANGRY? tu toh gayi YAZ. " she thought as she stared at her phone.
"You are most welcome." Finally he was able to finish the little conversation which was pending due to the phone call. She looked up in confused not knowing why he was talking like that. "sorry??" she said as she tucked her longs locks behind the her ear.
" that the reply for your thank you, you know the one you said b4 you went on the phone." he said as he leaned by the pole. " oh ok?" was all she said again trying not to make eye contact or she will start day dreaming about him again."
" I am Prem by the way. Prem Juneja?. "Said extending his hand out hoping that she would reply in the same manner.
At first she hesitated." What if he is another flirt like he last one or what if her try to stalk me or what if .. oh quit it will u??" she scolded herself. " Don't be a DRAMA QUEEN now. He seems ok..." she sighed as she done scolding herself and give her hands into his. " I am Heer. Heer Mann. Nice to meet you prem"
