Very true nitzy..we gotto see the side of shashank gupta the father...the helpless father who is completely shatterd n broken aftr he comes to knw the truth...yes its not easy being a parent...parents give their whole lives n they give up their own dreams too just to see the child leading happy n contended life...

Krittz, we can never really understand what our parents feel or what they suffer because of us unless we have kids of our own. The day your teenage child raises his/her voice at you , you will know how exactly your parents must have felt when you misbehaved them for the first time. It is such a hammer in the heart, I am not saying that parents are always right- no. But they always think of our safety first, more than anything else.


The agony n pain which shanky was goin thru was visible on his face n eyes..he was thinkin abt each n evrythin wat happened in last few weeks...it was hard for him to into to digest the situation just bcoz of the immature hatred n sick ego clashes both of them have ruined their lives...he just cudn't find any way out..he cud see the after effects of this whole chapter which has made him so helpless..the honour,dignity n name of both the families are on stake but he cant do anything abt it...

as a doted father he was worried abt his daughter future..what will happen to her?? who will marry my daughter aftr all this?? how do i make things alrite for her...how do i lock up ppls mouth??


True. Not only for Sid-Riddz , these are tough times for Shankypanks as well. He does not know what to do - he is trying to assemble whatever he can and most importantly, his daughter's honour. He just tugs at your heart strings as a helpless loving father.


and sid he was in a dilemma aftr seeing shanky all broken..he was feelin guilty abt watever happnd..somewhere inside in his heart he felt i m responsible for all this...it is coz me shanky n riddhima r there in this state...n as expected like the dignified person he is n man of honour wud say!! if by gettin riddhima married puts a fullstop to all ur problems,the only solution i wud marry riddhima...

and hearing this shanky had a chill down his spine...n riddhima as expected looked shocked but she had expected this from sid's side..but she was not in the favour of the marriage...she told ppl wil forget everythin as time goes..n sid knw this so he told her watevr u decide only thats gonna happen..dont worry we just want u to be happy...


Yes. Sid is proposing marriage to Riddz because he sees it as the only way to restore Riddhima's honour and zip people's mouths shut. He knows he doesn't live Riddhima and Riddhima knows Sid doesn't love her. The very foundation of their marriage is different- it is destiny plucking them off their roots and throwing them together.

the noor-e-khuda sequence was shot extremely nicely ur right...it was the rili good to see riddhima n siddhant thought abt each other without any hatred....sid holdin himself responsible for all the mess..n ridz thinkin abt his goodness n kindness n realising that sid is a good human being aftr all..she had a misconception abt him..


The Noor-E-Khuda sequence was sensitive , touchy and so reflective of the journey of Sid-Riddz. Beautiful and in place.

aftr watchin yesterday's precap i hv seen that evrybody thinks riddhima is gonna attempt suicide but wat i feel is that probably the way it was shown it was misleadin..my sixth sense says that she was not thinkin to end her life..i knw she said somethin lyk papa meri biddai nahi karenge meri arthi uthayange..somethin like this i dont remember the exact words..from wat i think is she meant that only my body will get married to siddhant,my soul n heart will always be urs armaan..while lukin at that photo..this lyf is not complete widout u armaan it is almost equal to being dead..i m lifeless witout u armaan..this is wat i think i may be wrong also,i cud relate to it in this way..this is just my pov..

Noor-E-Khuda stands for ' Light of God' and there is so much darkness surrounding these characters that I had to name this post by that title..yes indeed it definitely reflects to the post n the characters too...

Very true. I think Shanky has understood that Sid-Riddz' mutual hatred , immature animosity and impulsive actions and reactions have led to their state today. So, instead of hammering the heads of these two kids , he is looking for a solution. Both Sid and Riddz have rendered him helpless.


The thought that ran in his mind was what is future of her daughter now? He or Padma won't stay with Riddhima life long to protect/support her. Society is not going to let her stay in peace after whatever happened. They will make her life miserable and she might have to go through more insult and humiliation everyday.


Bingo. Shankypanks is thinking and reacting like any father would. He knows that he and Padma will not always be around. Society - the very people she stays amongst will rip her to pieces and Riddhima will crumble ultimately. He is looking for security of his daughter. Trustworthy hands he can give Riddhima's responsibility to.

Sid entered didn't knew what to say to Shashank. Shashank poured his heart out. He told Sid he is responsible for his state as well. He raised his concern about her daughter's future. What will happen to her future? Who will marry her after all this?

Sid held himself responsible for Riddhima state and Shashank's helplessness. He told Shashank if by marrying Riddhima everything will be fine then he is ready to marry. Riddhima who heard this was shocked. She was not angry at Sid she knew he just wanted to help her but marriage is not a solution.


Sid has driven it in his mind and heart that he is responsible for Riddhima's state - part of which is true. He feels for the vulnerability that Riddhima emanates and it makes him instinctively protective of her. If marriage can make everything okay , he will do it. For Riddhima and her family. This constant questioning of character needs to end.



Riddhima told them she knows she had hurt them and they just want her to see happy but marriage is not going to help either her or Sid. Ppl will talk but forget everything sooner or later. Sid told her he just wanted to help but whatever Riddhima says will be the last word.


It was kinda cool that how Shanky did not force marriage down Riddhima's throat and Sid stayed with Riddhima's decision. Whatever she said would be done. Simple. Sid has made it so simple.


Noor-E-Khuda showed us how Sid-Riddhima see each other today. Sid on terrace watching the ran passing by realizing how much he tries he can't reverse the time, go back and correct his mistakes he won't be able to. The damage has already been done. No matter how much hard he tries it's nothing going to change. Riddhima sitting on the stairs on fire escape thinking of how she always misunderstood Sid. The sequence depicted pain and loneliness.

Wow Shru! i never thought on those lines. Yeah, Sid cannot reverse the time and Riddhima can only be sorry for having hurt and misunderstood Sid so much. As you said, the sequence depicts pain and loneliness.

Later Stella says more bitter things about not only Riddhima but Padma. She says how Riddhima blood is bad mother became pregnant before marriage and now daughter is following her steps and ruining Sanjeevnu's reputation. Riddhima saw her parents helpless in front of them and held herself responsible for their state. She says she would do whatever they say and agrees to marry Sid.


I wanted to spank that Stella woman with broomsticks! No sensitivity at all???????????????.... Poor Paddy and Shanky!..... Riddhima was so traumatized to look at her parents' state. She wanted to do something to restore their honour immediately and she said yes to marry Siddhant.

Coming to the precap, we saw how Riddhima thinks suicide is solution to all the problems but she is wrong. If marriage is not the solution to all this problems nor is suicide. Her death is not going to change anything but do things worse. It will destroy her family honour and destroy them completely. Seeing their young child dead body in front of them is the worse nightmare for any parent.

Life throws many situations/challenges in front of us. We have two ways either face them or run away from them. It depends on us which path we choose.

True madam! Life is to be lived , faced and handled. It is not a job that you can quit without responsibility.
