Again ulte phere

Yesterday's episode again they showed Simi taking the first phere with Nakul in opposite direction.

When I watched the House arrest behind the scenes shoot on 18thFeb, It was shown how Smriti(Simi) and Manish(Nakul) were sharing a lighter moment about pheres and shaadi. In that Simi decides to marry Nakul and he says to Simi lead and start phere. He shows her the direction clockwise to lead but she says you are taking ulte phere and went back taking anticlockwise phere.

So which is right actually? Is it that the crew doesn't know. It was done correctly during AA wedding.

By the wa do women start pheres first followed later by man switching over to lead. The Nakul_Simi first phere showed Simi leading Nakul.

Which is correct.

I found this maybe it will help

With the first phera, the couple invokes the Gods for the plenitudes of pure and nourishing food and a life that is noble and respectful.

With the second phera the couple prays for physical and mental strength and to lead a healthy and peaceful life.

The third phera is taken for the fulfilment of spiritual obligations. The Gods are invoked for blessing the couple with spiritual strength.

The fourth phera is taken for the attainment of happiness and harmony through mutual love and trust and a long joyous life together.

The fifth phera is taken to pray for the welfare of all living entities in the entire universe and for begetting noble children.

The sixth phera is for bountiful seasons all over the world. The couple prays for bountiful seasons and seeks that they may go through these seasons together, just as they would share their joys and sorrows.

With the last phera they pray for a life of understanding, loyalty, unity and companionship not only for themselves but also for the peace of the Universe.

I thinl first 4 is taken by the wife and the last three by the husband

If first 4 is taken by wife and next 3 by husband then what Abhi-Simi took at the temple showed Abhi doing it first,Simi switching over and leading Abhi later.

So altogether a confused crew

shanti r u sure that the first 4 pherars are taen by the wife in lead i thought it was the husband / groom who leads the first four and the last three pheras is lead by the girl / the bride.........

I don't think the crew is confused. I think taking ulte pheras whether by abhi-simi or by neeti-omi is intended by the creatives. One storyline may be that neither marriage is valid because the pheras were taken wrongly and essentially we go back to abhi wooing simi with lots of problems in her life and omi wooing neeti against the wishes of nakul and dadi.
