John In Race 2 - An article

John Abraham is all set to be a part of the Race sequel

The actor will be seen in a negative role similar to Akshaye Khanna's in the original

Race 2 will have a lot of new characters apart from Saif, who is the only name confirmed for the sequel. Abbas Mustan, who are directing the sequel plan to make it more stylish and edgier than the original.



A source reveals, "John read the script and really liked it. After Dhoom, this is the second script he liked in just one sitting. The character he's playing is not only flamboyant but also has a huge collection of imported cars and bikes. Everyone knows that John is an avid bike rider."

John hasn't played a negative role in a film since Dhoom. In Race 2, he will be presented in a totally different look. "His look is extremely sexy and sophisticated. The film also has lot of stunts, car chases and some deep-sea diving scenes. They still are location hunting to figure out where to base the film."

When contacted, Ramesh Taurani said, "The script is being finalised and we have only cast Saif and Anil Kapoor till now."

Apart from John, there might be a couple of other new actors as well. "Akshaye and Katrina can't be in the sequel as they were bumped off in the first. But the script has the possibility of a few new faces besides John being added to the team."

I don't agree with u here, I agree that Hrithik was super in Dhoom 2, but even John, he was super in Dhoom 1, he acted too well.......

Infact both Dhoom 1 & 2 have special effects, but both negative roles played too well, by both John and Hrithik, infact the negative roles r the strongest in the both Dhoom 1 and 2, I think the same goes with Race, I haven't seen Race 1 til now, but I heard all the characters in the film are negatives 😆
