Hello my Saajan ki deewanis!!! I know that most of u r worried/disappointed abt Gunjan's reaction towards Sam in yesterday's episode. However, I have a somewhat different take on it, maybe because i was expecting this to happen. Last Saturday we saw a disagreement between SG, which affected both of them, and created a distance b/w them. Gunjan, all disheartened went out of the valentine ball and there she became a victim of that shooter. But as most of us have time and again said that this bullet in a way relieved her from the pain that she was going through due to Sam's denial.
Coming to Gunjan's perspective, we know that she lost the will to live. Why??? Because she heard denial/refusal from the person who is her life, and that too regarding spending their entire life with each other.
Now that she's out of coma and is medically improving. I'm saying medically because her heart is still in severe pain and psychologically, she is still shatered. She feels betrayed, that too from the person who is her love, her life. So, don't u guys think that she has every right to behave in this manner, to avoid wid Sam?? See, Gunjan is a strong yet sensitive person. She has lived her life in a shell, and Sam made her come out of this shell and face the world. They have had blind trust and faith on each other. Why i'm saying that Gunjan is a sensitive person, because she's too innocent to know and understand the materialism of ppl. Remember, after the bet, she was totally heartbroken, because she, being a genuine person, cud never believe that her best friend wud ever do this to her (plz don't kill me here coz i know, Sam may have started off wid the bet due to peer pressure, but he never had any bad intention and became equally genuine, rather the gem of a friend of Gunjan). In Sheena's case things were also the same. So, if Gunjan was affected sooo much then, now the situation is altogether different and is much graver.
Since the time she has realized her love for Sam, she has always dreamt of living her life with him. But on Valentine's night Sam unintentionally broke her dreams in front of her eyes. He doesn't believe in marriage, but she knows that in their society how can they spend a lifetime together without marrying. Thus, when dreams are shattered, heart is broken.. how can she now look upto Sam???
Moving to Sam's stance now.. He is a true lover, who deeply and madly lovesss his Chashmish. He doesn't believe in marriage because he himself comes from a broken family and has only faced the negativities of this relationship since childhood. Before Gunjan came into his life, he has lived a lonely, and i wudn't mind saying, an artificial life. Gunjan came and became his family, his ray of hope. They both have had blind faith and trust on each other. On Valentine's night, Gunjan words came as a shock to him also and out of his own insecurities and disbelief, he, not intending to, yet broke her heart. But her accident shook Sam like hell and he realized that whatever he did, whatever he said, has deeply hurt Gunjan, so much so that she has lost the will to live. He regretted and cursed himself for letting Gunjan go alone, and also for not understanding her. And eventually, we saw him say the most beautiful words, that if Gunjan goes away from him, his heart will also stop beating.
I am pretty much sure that, having realized all this, now Sam will NOT take any chances. Soon he'll understand that Gunjan is trying to maintain the distance (the cause of which he very well knows). This will be something totally unaccepatble and intolerable for him. In Sheena's time, he cudn't bear the pain of losing her best friend Gunjan. So how can he now let her even think of going away from him, to avoid him, to ignore him. So, like me, most of u wud b eagerly waiting to see Sam all after his Chashmish, wooing her, making her feel special etc. etc. etc...
Problems for them do not end here. Sam is well aware that Gunjan feels herself unworthy of him. To further aggravate and intensify this, now she's even paralyzed (hopefully for sometime only). This wud definitely strengthen her belief that she's not at all worthy of Sam. If the shooting incident was not enuf, this would further weaken her confidence. Her family and friends will all be there to motivate her, but the driving force will be Sam. He will make her realize that what if she cannot walk on her own feet,, she has his feet to walk on, his arms to hold, his chest to cry on, to hide in pain. So, Sammy boy has loads and loads to do on his mission to bring Gunjan back to life, back to himslef.
I hope that the beauty of they being soulmates further strengthens in this track. She's back to life only because her soul refused to depart from her lover, her Sam, because their souls are one. And now it wud be amazing to see how their souls unite their hearts again. So guys, don't worry because:
"Saari hadon ke par hai.. kuch aur nahin.. ye bhi pyar hai"
I hope i'm not expecting too much from this track. Beacuse there are every chances that the social and political twist will overshadow other things, and my expectations like always do not go down the drains.. Still, one cannot stop hoping.. I know that all my sweet SaJan ki deewanis are eagerly waiting to see SG romancing, dating and stuff. This may not happen in the coming few weeks. But if the CVs handle this track maturely, we will all see a much stronger SaJan bond out of this whole crisis scenario. And u know na, when Sam succeeds in any mission, the first thing he needs is a victory kiss from his Chashmish😉
