When I saw his expression of "Tum!" in last episode, I had thought that he would like Mahi as a friend. His expression (unlike Mahi's imagination) was genuine and it didn't feel like he was planning on making fun of Mahi.

Hmm... I still think that he was just being nice and hasn't really fallen in love with her yet (Or even pretending to be). The flowers could just be a return gift for all the gifts she has sent him. It's just a nice gesture, doesn't mean he has fallen in love with her.

But some things like that all night alone lie did arise some suspicions.

I'm still hoping that he doesn't turn out to be a jerk, I mean I do want MaHiv to be together in the end, but it doens't have to take this for them to come together.

We are not, definitely not asking for too much. Shiv deserves his screen space especially after making us all fall in love with him 😳

Anu, I am with you on this. Firstly, I have no clue how Ishaan found out Mahi's last name, I mean he was meeting her for the first time and before that, he barely knew her, forget taking interest in her details. As far as I remember, neither Sona-Mona nor Mahi told him her last name so I found it strange when he suddenly started calling her Talwar LOL. Anyhow, as much as I LOVED the date, especially Ishaan noticing Mahi drooling over a pizza and ordering it for her without being too obvious, I must say I find his behavior pretty suspicious. He never showed any signs of being judgemental towards her even before he knew her but somehow his sudden keen interest in her is making me skeptic, especially the way he was shown looking at her all lovey-dovey *raises an eyebrow suspiciously and scratches chin* somehow it all seems too good and perfect to be true. As for Shiv *sigh* he is incomparable - Mahi had to make an effort to get Ishaan notice her but Shiv noticed her and was nice to her even BEFORE he knew that she was HIS Mahi (P.S : I love the way he keeps saying "meri mahi" 😳) And THE LOOK in his eyes when he sees her is beyond description, there is this twinkle in his eyes, this delight and joy on meeting his dearest chaddi buddy awww and the best part is it is SINCERE 😍 he seems to genuinely like her the way she is , it is GGC's NATURAL REACTION towards Mahi, not an effect of her doing something sweet or going out of the way for him and THAT places Shiv in a very high order in my books & puts me on team Shiv by default,there is no question of second thoughts on this one.

I would like it if Ishaan actually turns out to be a realistic guy he is shown to be in this episode. It would be cool to see Ishaan actually taking interest in Mahi. Today's episode showed him genuinely taking interest in Mahi. And then we could have Mahi and Shiv's bonding side by side, and Mahi eventually realizing that Ishaan was just her fantasy. And she prefers him as a buddy or something. Who she really needs and loves is Shiv. That would be a really nice love story to watch, instead of the same ghissa-pita Ishaan hurting her and lowering her self-confidence once again. And then Shiv coming to the rescue or something. I would like Mahi to realize Shiv's worth without having anything to do with Ishaan.

Besides, I would rather not that Ishaan be shown like the same Sona-Mona OTT type of character. I mean who in reality actually takes the trouble to date a girl just to make fun/ use her later on? If you don't like the person you simply refuse, instead of leading them on. I'm hoping Ishaan doesn't turn out to be some OTT villain types.

@bold: I completely agree. I too, don't want Ishan to become the stereotyped jerk, I was hoping more on the lines of Mahi getting into a relationship with Ishaan but then breaking it off later on due to compatibility issues between them and Mahi feeling a disconnect with Ishaan as she cannot be her complete self with him while on the other hand, the very same factor , that special and instant connection and the comfort zone Mahi has with Shiv, where she can just be herself, speak her mind, blab whatever she wants without feeling stupid/embarrassed after blurting it out, the fact that she can EAT whatever she wants and however she wants without feeling conscious or worried about his reactions pulls her towards Shiv. It would be disappointing to watch Ishaan do all this just to ridicule Mahi because of her weight or use her for some project or to win a bet etc. - they are seriously done to death! Ishaan CAN be a good guy who genuinely likes Mahi because she is funny, sweet,smart and chilled out and becomes her really good friend in the long run.

Talk about irony....Mahi jhaadoes a major lecture in the beginning of the epi about how guys make all kinds of excuses but they basically mean to say the same thing....."you're ugly"....what exactly is Mahi doing right now then....is it not the same thing but with a slight variation? Shiv's 'niceness' is brushed aside cuz he's just a 'chaddi buddy' who's appearance is '0/10' in Mahi's books....lol Yaar Anu, like I said , Shiv is just a Chaddi Buddy but not THE Chaddiman like her Ishaaannnnnnnn- see the title & the name even rhyme.

Chalo is hafte Shiv ke darshan Rishta.com mein hi honge it seems as Isha's childhood friend...LOL Tell me about it! GGC did not make ANY appearance this time, not that I didn't like the episode but I terribly missed Shiv why is he shown so less always that we are left longing for him? 😕 There were not many Sid-Mahi scenes as compensation either except for that bit where Sid promises to marry her if things come to the level of Mahi having to marry one of the guys her mom has chosen awww ,that was so sweet of Sid, isn't he like the best-est buddy EVER?! 😊 ⭐️

Aww I loved that Sid-Mahi scene too! In the words of the mahaan Nimmiji, Sid is seriously made of awesomesauce!👏😆.....He really is the bestest friend ever.....the kind of friend everyone would want....I just love his and Mahi's relationship.

And dude, I keep saying this....seriously they should show a Sid-Shiv scene....remember wayyyy back in the first epi when Sid told Mahi Shiv was cute??😆😆

^^ Sid IS awesomesauce without a doubt! OMG now that you have reminded me of that, I am also rooting for a Sid-Shiv scene *holds sign boards and shouts slogans "chahiye bhai chahiye Sid-Shiv scene chahiye"*, I would love to see a Sid-Shiv and also a Sid-Mahi-Shiv scene where the threesome are hanging out together sometime and Shiv-Sid discussing Mahi's quirks in front of her or pulling her leg or something lol...
