I found it quite interesting in today's episode that Ishan has now taken to calling Mahi 'Talwar' out of the blue😕😆😆.....

Ek taraf hai Shiv....and to use a term he's repeated a few times....'meri Mahi'

And on the other side is Ishan.....and his funda of calling Mahi 'Talwar'....

Do guys who 'like' a girl refer to her by her last name so casually?😕😆😆....sounds like more of a 'buddy' vibe to me....

I'm still on team Shiv all the way....'meri Mahi' over 'Talwar' anyday😛😆....although I did think the date was quite sweet.....but the fact that Ishan is out of the blue acting so 'enamoured' of Mahi is cause for suspicion in my books...there's a catch to this story for sure😉

Talwar is totally a buddy vibe I agree..and him noticing Mahi all of a sudden like this is also not right..as we already have seen from the preview for next week, he is a JERK!

I was getting a sense throughout the epi that they would tie up the whole 'when a guy just treats you like a friend' thing by the end of the epi with Mahi realizing that Ishan just thinks of her as a buddy type....but instead they showed Ishan literally asking her out on a date😕😆.....some thing just doesn't add up here....it's too soon for him to fall for her so out of the blue...it's not about being superficial either....he seems like a nice, charming guy otherwise but to expect him to fall for Mahi in one night is something I find hard to digest....lol....the flowers especially were quite over the top over just one evening spent together which wasn't even really romantic per se....it was sweet and cute....but not romantic in the true sense.

I don't think the precap is Mahi's imagination.....Ishan is up to something for sure.

Anyways, I wish they show Shiv next week atleast.....it's quite unfair that they didn't show him AT all in this epi.....I don't get why they show less of Shiv most of the time😕😆

LOL, I agree. 'Meri Mahi' sounds SO much more romantic and apna, and sweet. Like as if there could ever be any doubts that Mahi is his only.

'Talwar' def. sounds alot more buddy-ish.
Plus just the way Shiv says, 'meri Mahi'. 😍

@bold: Ahh me too....he says it so softly yet there is this depth to it😳😆....

Things were going well with Ishan in this epi until he started calling her 'Talwar'...then I was like, 'hain'??😕😆....if he likes her in that sense, would he really be calling her Talwar?😕😆

I would really like it if they didn't take this Ishaan-Mahi angle the cliched way. Like Ishaan turns out to be some jerk who's just using Mahi for some purpose or something. That would be way too OTT and done to death.
I would like it if Ishaan actually turns out to be a realistic guy he is shown to be in this episode. It would be cool to see Ishaan actually taking interest in Mahi. Today's episode showed him genuinely taking interest in Mahi. And then we could have Mahi and Shiv's bonding side by side, and Mahi eventually realizing that Ishaan was just her fantasy. And she prefers him as a buddy or something. Who she really needs and loves is Shiv. That would be a really nice love story to watch, instead of the same ghissa-pita Ishaan hurting her and lowering her self-confidence once again. And then Shiv coming to the rescue or something. I would like Mahi to realize Shiv's worth without having anything to do with Ishaan.
Besides, I would rather not that Ishaan be shown like the same Sona-Mona OTT type of character. I mean who in reality actually takes the trouble to date a girl just to make fun/ use her later on? If you don't like the person you simply refuse, instead of leading them on. I'm hoping Ishaan doesn't turn out to be some OTT villain types.

@BengaliChica: I do think Ishan will still play a big role in her life in some form....the rest we'll know based on the next epi and how he treats her in the future...lol

@Pallo: Yep, I too would have preferred if they didn't take the cliched path of making Ishan a jerk and that being the reason Mahi turns to Shiv....I was beginning to like Ishan from the past two epis although I still think that Shiv and Mahi have a special sort of connection that is in a different league....but Ishan could be Mahi's friend too....he's basically a charmer but it would be interesting to see what Mahi discovers about him once she TRULY gets to know him.....

But don't you think it's unfair that they didn't even show one glimpse of Shiv in the entire epi??? Most of it was dedicated to this Ishan-Mahi date and then their interactions after that.....Shiv bechare ko aaj tak max ek 4 min ka scene mila hai....does he have any worth in this show at all?? :S lol....or is it supposed to be this Ishan-Mahi lowe story all the way?? lol

Anyways, back to the point....from the precap it does appear that Ishan is turning out to be a jerk...which would be quite a letdown after the great date today. Unless there is some other angle to all this that I can't see :S lol

@ Anu: Ya I agree about the flowers. They were a little too much! But I just passed it off as Ishaan being this type of guy who does all this. Like taking Mahi to fancy restaurants and flowers and all that. Shiv on the other hand, doesn't seem like the guy that would do all this to impress a girl. He seems more of a simple, subtle type of guy.
I think Ishaan could have alot more to him than being this stylish successful, person who you can only admire and fantasize about instead of actually be friends with. Like today, his lines about loving the night time, and him wanting to start over after he makes a stupid remark by saying "tum". lol He seems like he could be a down to earth type of guy who really could use a friend amongst all these model/ stylish type of office people. So him and Mahi's story that way would be so interesting to watch.
Totally yaar!! I hate how they hardly ever show Shiv!!!!!! I mean what's the deal? I liked today's episode and I would love to see a friendship or something between Mahi and Ishaan. But I want to see a bonding between Shiv and Mahi too! But I think ultimately it will be Mahi-Shiv only, so once Mahi's Ishaan fever dies down a little maybe we'll see more of him, hopefully.
I'm hoping the precap is Mahi's wild imagination again. lol

Yaar at the current rate, I'm beginning to wonder if Mahi-Shiv really are meant to be after all.....saari footage toh is Ishan Singh Ahluwalia ko hi milti hai😕😆....since day one, I've been whining about the lack of Shiv scenes in the epis....once in a blue moon, we get stuff like the terrace scene....but today Ishan got the entire freakin epi, man😆😆.....any SBS/SBB coverage about this show also seems to be about Mahi-Ishan only....are they trying to drop hints here?😕....lol....then I should give up on Mahi-Shiv and watch this for total timepass only....haha

Like you said, Mahi-Shiv hardly get a chance to bond/talk much....but in every epi without fail, Mahi is either daydreaming about Ishan or drooling over his shoes/clothes/perfume...the works....lol....today it went many steps farther and they got almost a full epi of MAJOR bonding.....where does Shiv stand in Mahi's life then?? Friends toh she has like Sid-Roshni....what purpose does Shiv have then??

It would indeed be nice for Mahi to have an ally like Ishan in her otherwise hostile work environment....like the moment today when he called out to her from the elevator and Sona-Mona were shocked out of their wits to see Ishan KNOWING Mahi😆😆.....it would raise Mahi's clout at the magazine I'm sure....

Will Mahi's Ishan fever ever really die if he sends her 897979879 bouquets of flowers and asks her out on dates??😕😆

Haaye bechara Shiv😆
