All you fans of Shubhangi,
First of all, I must confess that I am so far removed from TV & movies for years now, that I hardly watch any movies or any TV shows. Believe it or not, till a few days ago, I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA that a serial titled "Kasturi" ever aired on any channel, leave aside knowing that Shubhangi played the title role in that show!!!!!!!!!!!!😆😆 I have been browsing this forum for about half an hour now, and realize that you people still talk about Kasturi & some Robbie guy. Cool.
But in what can only be termed as a strangely beautiful quirk of fate, days before this new show, "Do hanson ka joda" was to go on air, my cousin, watching tv(and I was whiling away my time in the same room), saw the promo of "Do hanson ka joda" and suddenly remarked," Dada, do you know Shubhangi, who plays the lead role in this upcoming show, is an MBA from IMS, just like you." As I am sure you all can very well visualize, that was bound to catch my attention. Now my cousin, she is really knowledgeable in practically any field you can think of, including TV & movies. She even knew that Shubhangi's major was Marketing & minor, HR, and that her daughter's name is Ashi!! Today's teenaged girls, I tell you!!
So, just to watch an IMS alumnus act , I have been watching this "Do hanson" show. Must say, she acts beautifully.😊
However, during the last two weeks or so, apart from Suryakamal's and SA's performance, I think story-wise, the show has been sucking big time. Preeti's mom-in-law & sis-in-law just bring so much negativity and bad vibes in the show; it's hugely irritating to watch. Preeti's bro-in-law also looks a comprehensively degraded creature, a perfect rascal. These three scoundrels have been bringing so much negativity in the show for the past so many episodes, that what could have been a heart-warming story with positive vibes, and good people doing good things, thereby bringing joy to those around them, has been turned into a B-grade bollywood fare full of B-grade baddies. 😆😆
Sorry, but if this continues, even the strange and inexplicable urge to watch an IMS alumnus act, won't be enough to compel me to keep watching this 1920's nonsense.
If there's anyone here, moderator, fan, member, anyone, who can somehow, anyhow, contact Shubhangi, my request to that person is-- just tell her how utterly boring this 16th century "Bechari Bahu" track has become. It's sheer nonsense, and if this continues, I am again out of TV viewing.
