In this stage of this competation every one expected to sing well, because they were chosen as a cream out of corn. However, out of 12, do you think Panna has an outstanding voice which can take him to long way. Obviously, performance is important for this kind of show, but when you do the playback, do you realy need performance? It is very essential for a person to be good at in singing rather than in performance in oder to establish himself or hershef as great singer for a long time.

First, the cream of the crop aka top 12 was selected by the same janta that continues to vote for besuras, by the same viewers/voters that put singers like Meenal, Amey and Karyuna in the bottom three week after week. The cream of the crop would have included the more talented yet ousted singers.

Second, I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Panna's voice. I did like his one performance 'Jhalak Dikhlaja' a lot. But to say he has an outstanding voice is an overstatement. Panna isn't in the top eight because of his singing. If he wins II2, it won't be for his singing either. His other qualities seem more appealing to his admirers aka looks, style, performance, dancing ability.

Third, II2 is looking for a a 'singer' to promote Sony shows first. II2 winner may end up in playback singing but I doubt that's the channel's first priority is to find a playback singer. Whoever wins II2 will be seen for a year (and probably more) promoting Sony shows like KYPH, JJKN (if its still on air), Deal Ya No Deal etc. I don't see Panna's future in playback singing anyway. He seems more like a personality who'd suit being in front of the camera versus behind it.

people would have no real arguments if they were asked why they vote for panna because karunya and amey have better voices and amey is a total package who can perform really well too and look good.
