Heyy everyone

**Before I begin, I request people to discuss according to the rules on this forum. There is a thin line between criticism and bashing, and I hope people stay within the line of criticism and nothing more.**

After the body heat scene between Sid and Riddhima (or should I say the 'deed-that-must-not-be-named' according to Riddhima's perspective) in friday's episode and rape accusation in today's precap, all I can say is...is this the so-called 'hatke' track the CVs had planned for SidMa??? 🤢

Let me get something cleared first before I go further. I am not much of a SidMa fan and neither am I a crazy ardent AR fan. I like both JeRan and KaJen as respective pairs, but if anyone asked me to choose between AR and SidMa then I would have a preference for AR I guess since SidMa doesn't click for me.

So anyways, there were some articles stating that SidMa were suppose to be having a hatke type of track in terms of their relationship...but if THIS is what they meant by 'hatke' then I seriously don't see it as a 'hatke' track. Yes, maybe for a show like DMG this SidMa track is quite 'hatke', but it seems like it is more typical Indian soap opera, Ekta Kapoor style. DMG is quite unpredicatable, but out of all kinds of tracks and directions...I did not expect something like this for SidMa's track. I mean the precap and the promo was just horrifying to watch. Don't know how this body heat incident can be turned into a forced shaadi track, unless this is some weird twist to get Armaan to enter out of nowhere.

I really hope this strange SidMa track is not happening because of the certain changes Star One is suppose to be having soon, like fading out the youthness of shows and bringing in family melodrama as their main theme.

I dont think the hatke track is mostly the marriage thing, i think its always been the build up of them, as you can see S/R are have this bond that goes deeper then one thinks, and also they have this Dard Ka Rishta that they keep hurting each other etc

I cant explain but its all been discussed in the S/R thread better then how i can explain it now 😊

There is nothing original about DMG2 anyway!

Everything is just a rehash of DMG1.

The delivery scene in the elevator is a rehash of another scene in which AR were in a stuck elevator and had to operate on someone (my apologies for not remembering the details of that scene). !!!

and where the current track is concerned, yes a rehash of some EKTA soap!!!!

Dangelz i dnt think there is Anything hatke about this track .. the concept of hateing each other but somehow ending up married it's a concept that was used in Kutumb. If Sidhima Marrige happens then that means the cv's will copy the Concept Ditto

Lennie, I'm not saying that the hatke track is only about the marriage in question between S/R. The hatke part is that how just a body heat incident can bring S/R into a question of getting them married. I guess only Dr.Shashank can explain how he came up with the sudden idea of marriage when misunderstandings have not even been cleared yet.

I understand that SR themselves are a hatke couple, that I have no doubt in admiting. The only bond I see between them is from Sid's perspective and not Riddhima...atleast not yet. Not to compare but, AN in the previous season were also hatke and they also had a dard ka rishta track and also some serious heated confrontations before they got together. The difference is the situations the characters were/are in.

Well DMG 1 and 2 are afterall the same show with different characters and different situations, so there is bound to be some similarities between them.

About the current track, I really hope it does not go in an Ekta style direction. Thanks for your comment. 😊

Ramsha, do we EVER have any idea where CVs are heading?? That is more of the question! 😆 😆

Well glad you're enjoying the current track. I don't think marriage track and 'love after marriage' would be as interesting or fun to you if this involved AR, so technically your opinion is contradicting because of your preference for S/R. Thanks for your comment. 😊

I agree..It is SO EKTA! Im glad someone feels the same way! If this is what they meant by hatke, then 😳 I think ive seen this 9989899 times before lol...

Honestly, I doubt the "shaadi" is even gonna happen...lol..we just have to wait and watch!

I loved your post..Despite being an ardent AR fan, this track seems so dumb...Esp force ure daughter to marry someone...for what reason again?!? body heat? wow!
