Heyy everyone
**Before I begin, I request people to discuss according to the rules on this forum. There is a thin line between criticism and bashing, and I hope people stay within the line of criticism and nothing more.**
After the body heat scene between Sid and Riddhima (or should I say the 'deed-that-must-not-be-named' according to Riddhima's perspective) in friday's episode and rape accusation in today's precap, all I can say is...is this the so-called 'hatke' track the CVs had planned for SidMa??? 🤢
Let me get something cleared first before I go further. I am not much of a SidMa fan and neither am I a crazy ardent AR fan. I like both JeRan and KaJen as respective pairs, but if anyone asked me to choose between AR and SidMa then I would have a preference for AR I guess since SidMa doesn't click for me.
So anyways, there were some articles stating that SidMa were suppose to be having a hatke type of track in terms of their relationship...but if THIS is what they meant by 'hatke' then I seriously don't see it as a 'hatke' track. Yes, maybe for a show like DMG this SidMa track is quite 'hatke', but it seems like it is more typical Indian soap opera, Ekta Kapoor style. DMG is quite unpredicatable, but out of all kinds of tracks and directions...I did not expect something like this for SidMa's track. I mean the precap and the promo was just horrifying to watch. Don't know how this body heat incident can be turned into a forced shaadi track, unless this is some weird twist to get Armaan to enter out of nowhere.
I really hope this strange SidMa track is not happening because of the certain changes Star One is suppose to be having soon, like fading out the youthness of shows and bringing in family melodrama as their main theme.
