Plus, Parvez is always in the bottom, like Jai usually was but always came out with an amazingly strong performance just like Parvez.

Honestly, all 4 of TKT deserve to stay and go to the top 10.
Meenu and Bhavna, among girls, are not as good as Kruti and Shakti, and Binny also.

@Bold: Ditto....I'm getting the same feeling....he oddly reminds me of Jai even though Jai was more trained than him when he entered DID...but the graph of his growth was just brilliant....it's like you said...initially nobody paid that much attention to him but ultimately he emerged as the dark horse and his last few performances on DID especially were WOW.

Like Jai, Parvez also keeps getting nominated for the dance ki kasauti but he performs such amazing solos each time that one can clearly see his growth and versatility as a dancer....he's improving so much! ....And I am liking the person Parvez as well....I liked what he said about believing in his hard work and God.....he seems to be a very emotional guy who cries easily....LOL....but he's very hard working...and I hope he continues to improve in the future as well.

And I agree....all remaining 4 from TKT deserve to be in the top 10....and Meenu really needs to be eliminated next.

OMG, you said what I have been thinking and said on some other thread!! Yes, he reminds me of Jai so much - extremely good in solo and okay in duets and trio acts. He has stunned me with his two solos already. I didnt like him much in the beginning, and his two solos were such a treat to watch that I like to see more and more solos from him and I cant wait for the post-WC round!! 😃
I also agree with you that Bhavna and Meenu are not as good as the rest of the girls. And as last season, all four remaining in TKT deserve to be in top ten by all means. In fact, Vandana also deserved to, but unfortunately she was eliminated. I hope she will be back in from the WC round...
BTW, Jess, thank you so much for this thread!! No one had started a thread on Parvez, and I am so happy to see one finally!!

I love Parvez! I just love his personality too! From feeling bad that he made the top 18 over Jack, who hurt his leg during the audtions, to what Terrence said about him during his solo performance last week. That he just lives life happily without worrying about what will happen and just lives life "jhakaas" style. 😆
Dancing wise too he is giving great performances. He's shown he can do comedy as well as serious types of performances. I love his dedication and sincerity. He seems so genuine and he's such an inspiration! I hope he goes far.

Thirdly, regional voting is sickening in India, especially. Yes, contestants on a reality show in foreign countries are addressed by their hometowns, but there's not much division when the competition perhaps begins. It's almost impossible for a contestant from a small town to bag in the votes, as that's apparently the first priority the voters pick to evaluate on. The talent itself comes in second. Sometimes I wonder if there's even national pride in India left, as most of the folks only hold value in their cities or states, mainly from what I have observed on TV. With the very limited knowledge I hold of India, one aspect that I have noted from news is that the state government barely interacts with the national government thus the lack of response and cooperatively if a disaster or emergency occurs, but that's an added dimension that perhaps we shouldn't discuss here since this forum is only related to Dance India Dance.

Religion - No one was born yesterday to realize that this issue is still at halt with no progress whatsoever as the chaos around the nation can be observed regarding it. There are no two ways about it. I have witnessed hatred for specific contestants because they perhaps belong toa minority sect or do not follow the majority's belief system. The fact that Salman was graced the winner does make me somewhat believe that progress is being achieved, but then shows such as Sa - Re - Ga - Ma - Pa alter my opinion regarding the matter.

Now, yes, Vrushali was eliminated as you yourself state fairly early in the game but she was a girl and I have noticed that many of the girls indeed vote for such contests, and apparently they would much rather view a charming man on screen rather than a woman. Such are the ways.

I find faults in the way at times democracy behaves, thus I stated. Of course everyone has their opinion regarding the issues, and so do I. Now coming to the topic itself, yes I do believe that Parvez holds in potential because he's eager to learn, but for reasons that I believe, he may be eliminated soon in the game.

DID 2 is irritating me in many ways this season with useless gimmicks to gain in TRP's and accolades, and the evident strategies being played by the master and grand - master. Eh, oh well, it's entertainment and I am all up for selective viewing.

I agree but disagree with some of your points Zainab... I do agree that ppl usually vote based on their region, but then a small town contestant not winning is not right...it all depends on if he or she bags the votes from his or her region...
Secondly, why is everyone stuck up with one srgmp incident? It was not as if there was just one wonderful contestant that season....Also, Salman winning assures you progress? thats is like saying just cos he is from a particular sect and is awarded then justice is done...it didn't sound like he as a dancer won hence justice was done...if you yourself cannot overcome this hurdle, how do you expect the entire nation to change? sorry to say but bringing religion unnecesary all the time is not required. I am not from a minority sect that you are referring to, but I love Pervez's dances... Dance has no religion, no caste, no sect... everytime in every show if a minority sect doesn't win then it was unfair, should not be the slogan now... let a good dancer survive and progress and by god's grace win fairly...

This hip-hop dancer is now doing comedy performances and a bit of contemporary.

Today's performance was really good...Terence has really got him to a higher level :)

I like talking about Parvez because no one else does 😆

I would love to see him doing some kind of Salsa/Couple dance

I had mentioned Parvez in one of the post reply, someone wrote that DID2 is boring etc. in that topic. Pl read

It is too early yo say boring, but I am missing few things which DID1 dancer had. Some of them were perfect in certain kind of dance. I enjoyed Pervez variety, his BigB dance was great, his dance with Ameeth was also funny and this week was amazing. The way he used the prop was really treat to eyes.
