lol, I usually make the "Rate the performances" thread after every episode, but it hasn't been so successful in the past so I'll just put what I thought of the performances and the episode on the whole here, including my rating for each performance :)
First of all, I'd like to say that I wasn't too excited to see Vivek Oberoi on the show at first but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by his sweet, cheerful and funloving personality ⭐️ LOVED Vivek as the celebrity judge!!!!! 👏
About the performances:
Definitely Amar & Shakti are the first for me with 10 points!! MIND-BLOWING PERFORMANCE 👏👏 What I love about both of them is their chemistry, and the connection they make with the audience. When that kind of chemistry is mixed with a blend of a great concept, brilliant choreography, perfect costumes, and flawless execution, then a fascinating performance is inevitable! They create magic on stage! ⭐️
Binny &Kishore would come on number 2 for me with 8.5 points! I don't understand y the judges weren't impressed by them =/ As a viewer I was DEFINITELY impressed by their performance! Yes it was simple and sweet and that's exactly what I liked about it. Binny is definitely on my favourite list and I loved her today. The bottomline is that I connected with them, which is why I liked their performance!
I have a tie for the second spot coz I liked Parvez & Kruthi EQUALLY! Again, I'm not an expert in dance to comment on what they did technically wrong or right, but as a viewer, I didn't find their energy level to be that low =/ infact I enjoyed their performance and connected with them! I literally had a smile on my face throughout their whole performance! for me, their performance worked, and I'd also like to mention that Parvez has just entered my favourite list today 😳 I really really do hope now that he comes back through wildcard! All the best to him! I'd give them 8.5 as well!
Punit & Shashank would be on number 3 for me. I liked their performance, and it definitely could've been better if they executed it properly. I really liked the song they danced on, so they had my attention partially bcz of the song 😛 Yes, the ending was messed up but I really liked their beginning. I'd give them 8! I wanted to give 7 but I would add an extra point for the last lift they did, so 8 it is!
The last and the least impressive or should I say not impressive at all were Bhavna & Nikkitasha! I just didn't like or enjoy their performance for even one bit The concept is so old now. I have seen it so many times that it was hard for me to enjoy it anymore. Plus, they failed to connect with me. Nikkitasha was good but Bhavna 👎🏼 I'd give them 5!
Overall, I really enjoyed the episode mainly because of Vivek Oberoi! 😃 I have to say that the beginning was really dull and boring but it got better and better as it progressed and ending was the best part of the show with Shakti-Amar's performance and with Mithunda's julie julie 😆 AND not to forget Binny's dad's bhangra on slow music 😆 LOL that was so much fun and sweet to watch! I felt bad for Kruthi though =[
