As guys i have noticed that when any new act classical was performed on stage it is appreciated but who performed get eliminated every time last time also some new act was done my mandakeni & by many of geeta ke gang but all where out so new act was not being done only past acts was being repeated no new act was accepted here as i think.
Terence was also doing the same only he use only contemporary on his dance & remo on hip hop nothing else is seen so nothing new i have seen in this season till now..only Bachata , Cube, Goldfish (same as contemporary), Dharmesh perform (30th jan) all are new attempted by geeta & new acts get out the contestants..................................................

so now we will see only what we see nothing new as new make people out...............

I must say hats off to GEETA for putting some new acts on DID2 As we have never seen it any time.
& AS many said to replace her is not at all possible for sure.

I totally dont agree with you because she just put on Costume on Dharmesh... there's nothing so creative about it.

yup you are right, Geeta tends to put innovative solos, just as she does for Duos, but that is not appreciated. and why even complain as i said, or even raise a question, because Grand Master doesn't have knowledge of dance but just for TRP's he is the show,

Dharmesh did NOT dance. Yes he had a 50 kg costume on, but he can't be saved by the Grandmaster for that. This is a dance show, where even if u represent a new form, u need to show dance in it. Salman did dance, whereas Dharmesh's act involved a lot more of expressions which he did not get right either as Remo pointed out during the beginning of the act.

Like Terrence said it was expecting too much of Dharmesh to do the quick twirls that ppl take yrs to master in a week. I don't blame Dharmesh, I blame his mentor. I don't think the Grandmaster did anything wrong by eliminating Dharmesh because he did not dance. If someone dances well and the other ATTEMPTS something new, the contestant cannot be kept it for just attempting unless he does a really good job.

I know I am not comparing like with like but judging from what was said by the masters, Dharmesh did not look like he was in a trance at all. I have seen people in India, even here in the UK, who go in to a trance during Navratri after being possessed by Mataji and this act did not make me feel like I was watching something like that at all. I enjoyed the act a lot actuallybut if you want to bring a traditional Indian classical dance form and present it to the rest of India, then the least one can do is do proper research before daring to present such a beautiful dance form to us.

I will give credit where it is due and well done to geeta for some of the new acts presented but I will also give credit to Terence and Remo for some of their breathtaking performances.

I dont think it's because of the new act. I really appreciate it whenever Geeta tries to portray such regional art forms on the DID stage. Last season, she made Siddhesh do Kuchipudi once and another time made him do Kathakali with Sunita. I enjoyed both of them so much and neither caused any problems for her team in the elimination round that followed. So it's not the new act, but the lack of impact it made this time. I will not blame Geeta or Dharmesh, as both of them are not familiar with the form. Theyyam is done in a very fast mode, maybe due to the trance, and also I think it will make the costume feel lighter. And often Theyyam involves a lot of fire acts which are dangerous for a non-pro. But Geeta did mention that she had someone to show the steps and do the makeup and costume. I am not sure how much of an expert that person would be in this folk dance form. It's a regional art in the northern districts of Kerala, and is very different from Kathakali. Kishore should have done it instead of Dharmesh as he is from the Theyyam region..
Here's a video for those who would like to see the real one:

I totally agree with you ...there was nothing creative in the choreography except the costume and that too is someone elses input. Geetha "ma" wasted Dharmesh. Hope Dharmesh comes back to Remos team in the wild card round.

Trying new dances is a plus, but executing and choreographing is more than a plus. Geeta has in this season started to try new things but sometimes her execution is not flawless, she gets bonus points merely for trying or showing us something different. to put it in simple terms, we don't expect much from Geeta so when she shows us something a little challenging and different from her regular show, we appreciate it more than it sometimes deserves. whereas the other two judges, have shown their caliber and shown us different styles so their performances are always under the microscope.
