I initially thought that she looked a bit like Shubhagni Atre, but then again, no.

It would be interesting to know. What I found interesting is that Panchi is really gone.

I foresee a LOT of problems after the Sharmas bring Poonam home

-> Poonam is very independent minded, and will not understand or respect Deepu's completely sincerity towards his family

-> Poonam will compare Deepu to her own brother and feel cheated, that she has to sacrifice because her husband is such a good son (there's always a compromise between good son and good husband to some extent) but her parents dont get the same benefit as her brother is not like Deepu

-> Padma will find her too "modern" and not malleable enough

-> Sushma and Jyoti will both start having troubles with her since Poonam will want Deepu to care more for her/ spend more time with her/ spend more on her and him, than his sisters

-> Poonam will be unhappy and unsatisfied with Deepu's divided attention since she did not grow up in a joint family, and is probably the apple of her parents' eyes

-> Poonam will not be interested in making friends/getting close/getting to know Deepu's family, whereas they will be so interested in her that they won't leave her alone

-> Deepu will be in an even more unhappy situation as his wife and the rest of his family won't see eye-to-eye and he'll feel he's not fulfilling his responsibilities to either party

I say some of this from personal experience.

^^^^^^^^^^^If that's going to happen, I hope Deepu identifies it before they get married. But again, I don't want her life to be ruined as a result of a broken up engagement.

please if anyone have seen her in any serial please tell me, cuz i have seen her before but i just can't remember... i think she was playing a negative character in the serial :D

Poonam is being played by actress Geetu Bawa. she first played (accordig to my knowledge) the role of sia in dharamveer on ndtv imagine, then she played sujata in 'chehra' on star plus and gayatri or G in 'chaand ke paar chalo' on imagine again...she also did some program on zee tv
