Program Depending on the length of the individual speeches, the ceremony begins roughly at 9:15 a.m. You will be presented with an agenda that will break down the morning's activities minute by minute; at the end of this message is a sample agenda for your reference.

First your group will view a short video presentation about NASDAQ. Then, a Senior Executive from NASDAQ OMX delivers an official welcome message ending by offering the floor to your CEO/Chairman/President for his/her comments.

Your CEO/Chairman/President addresses the group; bear in mind when crafting remarks for your CEO/Chairman/President, he/she is allotted two minutes maximum for remarks. The audience for these remarks are the guests in the room and those who will watch the raw DVD of the ceremony we provide. We also air the ceremony live on www.nasdaq.com, and our MarketSite Tower with closed captioning.

Finally, at the conclusion of the formal remarks, guests are invited to join the speakers onstage for the official Opening Bell.

SRK and Kajol to ring NASDAQ opening bell on February 1

By Bollywood Hungama News Network, January 30, 2010 - 15:39 IST

Kajol, Shahrukh Khan There is no denying the fact that the Shah Rukh Khan- Kajol pair has a huge fan following not just in India but even overseas. SRK and Kajol, who are all set to once again re-unite onscreen after 9 long years in Karan Johar's magnum-opus My Name Is Khan, have been invited by NASDAQ, the world's biggest stock exchange, to ring their opening bell in New York on Monday, February 1.

SRK and Kajol will thus become the first Indian actors to open the market, an honour usually reserved for CEOs of major corporations. This prestigious event will be broadcast live on many television networks across the globe. With over 3,700 companies listed, the NASDAQ has more trading volume than any other stock market in the world.

With their upcoming film My Name Is Khan releasing on February 12, their presence in the US of A at this grand event is sure to create hysteria among their NRI fans. Shot mainly across the United States of America, My Name Is Khan will have an extensive worldwide release and also have a star studded premiere at the 60th annual Berlin International Film Festival during the week of its release.

I thought SRK was felt very humiliated by the way he was treated in the US last time around? Now here, he is in New York.

The level stars go to promote their movie 😕

Zareena my point is if we was so upset- which he seemed he was, after the episode he should have taken a stand. His detention drama almost created tension between India & US.

But now he is back in the US saying nothing, not taking a stand. It will make every one think it was just frivolous & he used the episode as an excuse to promote his movie.

Seriously if I felt so humiliated by an event & gave some strong statements then I would not do the exact opposite & land up in the same country again to promote a movie.

This kind of Humiliation is everywhere for a Muslim. USA, UK, Foreign countries and even in India too. Millions of people today see a muslim as a terrorist. When you're at airport. Airport officials will first check the bags of muslims than any one else. Being a muslim, i am happy i don't have to travel on Airplane. But if i have a business and went through the same thing i wouldn't discontinue my business because Airport check on Muslims first.

Why should he make a stand? I don't think he's so selfish to boycott his loved ones for what happened at the airport. Again let's not go off topic and stick to the topic.

so bcoz I said something against SRK I'm going off topic?

Anyway in my opinion this has confirmed what most people already doubted- the whole detention episode was milked by SRK & co for their own benefit.
