This lie doesn't compare. At the end of the day, sadhna could not lie in court at the expense of ruining soemeone elses life by making false claims. This is understandable. She could lie about the phone call, because that wouldn't harm anyone by doing so, rather it was beneficial as she prevented mamaji from worrying about her.
