That's exactly what he is saying, things would be different had Shravani not been pregnant. In the update he told Archana that he has to pay for Sachin's mistake, he feels there is no other way than to marry Shravani for the sake of her child. Manav is giving up his happiness because he thinks this is the right thing to do. Unfortunately, Archana thinks the same way which is frustrating to see! So not only were ArMan's scenes disappointing so were SaSha's

Feel bad for both Archana and manav. Both Sav aai and Sul aai are bad in thier own ways.

Sul aai was responsible for most of it. She thinks she knows whats best for her daughter and ends up riuning her life.

By the way now that everone knows Aji was behind all this, how come no one from Archana's family is taking this up with Manju and her mother. Surprised!!!
