Thanks for the article, that sucks for Sushant.
Not defending marathi people, (esp since I am one) but its hard to switch to another language when you know someone or a group speaks the same mother tongue as you.
Even though I work in the US and was born and raised here, when I see a Marathi person who's a friend, i have a hard time not talking to them in Marathi.
Anyway, I feel bad for Sushant, but now that there is a entire article on it, i hope that it gets easier on him.
Plus marathi isnt' that different from hindi, so he should catch on sooner or later.

poor sushant the same thing happened to me too. My mother tongue is Urdu and my best friend was British. since I had other Pakistani friends we always talked it urdu and my best friend thought we were talking bad about her it worsened so badly with me and my best friend that we stopped talking to one another 😭

It holds good for people of all languages.

with so many maharastrians around iam sure he will pick up the language fast
