I've seen this many times, especially in I-F, that some Indians have constantly been criticizing India and it's beliefs, poverty and never say anything good about India? Why is this? Is it because of India's bad reputation in the world?(I don't think so).

are you one of them since you're name is cuckoo-cutter. 😉😛JK. But on a serious note, you're basically saying they have an inferiority complex? But I don't think that's the main reason. I just can't my finger to it.

Strange you came across such desis. The ones I see here at IF are mostly those who keep criticizing the west at the drop of the hat--- and most of them are settled in western countries😆

haven't you read the post "Desis responsible for India's bad name" and some of the posts in "Are we proud to be Indians?" There are constant criticisms about Indians doing this, that as if non-Indian people are all saints.😡

Oh, those two recent threads. Have patience. You'll see them bashing western values and way of life sooner than later😆 My problem with them is why to migrate if everything Indian is great and everything western is bad. I can see a person not choosing to migrate because of their beliefs and then criticising the west. It's hilarious when the NRIs do that.
Looks like desis love bad mouthing - be it their motherland or their adopted land😆

😆I guess they aren't satisfied with anything. As the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side. Funny nthing, I've said that thrice now on DM.

Does it happen anymore. I think it used to happen a lot in the first half of 2007. NRIs and even US citizens panning US culture, infact saying that there's no culture at all.
Even I didn't get it. If it's so bad why not go back home.
😆

I guess both cultures have their pros and cons. But why criticize your own motherland where you grew up.?I mean, it isn't constructive criticism too.
