"Another round of gol-guppas please", Don't be surprised if you find her next to your famous gol-guppas stall, merrily eating away to glory. Meet Mahi! A girl next door, a healthy girl next door'. Okay' a chubby girl next door. Afraid that she might just die a virgin, Mahi has her own world that she comfortably sinks in when she feels she not as picture perfect as her sister or slim and diet conscious as her friends. She is positive and fun-loving, optimistic about her prince charming walking into her life.

Mahi chooses an unusual way to deal with everything, from her crushes ranging from a boy-next-door to the 'hottie' in the office premises, dealing with her "Kattar-punjabi" mom, being an agony aunt to all the people having problems in their love life to practically not having one of her own. Fun, sarcastic, imaginative, creative is the way she chooses to see life. Just call it "Mahi Way".

Cute and Cuddly! Clumsy to the core, and Critical POV's! Fun loving and highly creative! (How else do you think she visualizes one new boyfriend every night? At the age of 25, the love of her life is… Food. A small circle of family and friends and not so great job with a non-appreciating boss is what Mahi's life is all about. A hard core romantic at heart but at times arrogant and tough, Mahi is hopefully waiting outside with a bunch of red roses for her Prince Charming.

Episode 1

Mahi Talwar has a typical morning at home with her disfunctional family where the usual verbal missiles are exchanged between her mother, grandmother and bua while her father stays noncommittal behind his newspaper. Mahi's siblings make their presence felt ' her younger brother Ankur is his usual irritating adolescent self while her perfect but extremely condescending older sister Anjali makes an important announcement to the family.

At work Mahi tries to answer a query in her agony aunt column while her boss Ramona Kohli ticks her off as usual. Mahi also tries timidly to make a suggestion for the magazine. Roshni her best friend tries to help her out with a fashion emergency. Mahi also has some encounters of the 'male' kind but not really the kind that she would have dreamt about.

Will Mahi find the right answer for the agony column query? Will Ramona agree to her suggestion? Will Roshni be able to solve her friend's fashion emergency?

Episode 2

At work, Mahi gives advice in her column which would probably benefit her the most but which as usual she herself is unable to follow. When she does try to follow it, it backfires on her.

Sid & Roshni offer her their services to help with something very important which she reluctantly accepts. Between the two of them, though they are well meaning, their help translates into some eventful and slightly uncomfortable times for Mahi.

Back at the office, Mahi tries to create better opportunities for herself but is constantly interrupted by Sona & Mona. .

Epiode 3

Mahi is pressurized to be on her best behavior for some unexpected visitors to the Talwar home. In the course of events things turn ugly between Mahi and her mother. Mahi feels dejected. She turns to Sid and Roshini, who seem too distracted with their own lives.

At work Mahi feels cheated for her work not being well received by her boss. Despite all the deterrence, Mahi bounces back to her column and writes to her readers.

EPisode 4

Mahi is set to experience another proposition made by Sid and Rohini, which turns out to be quite unsuccessful. Mahi, manipulating her way through things at work, manages to do a big favour to Anjali. At last she embarks on an idea to reach out to Ishan.

Episode 5

Mahi finds a new way to find a boyfriend, which gets her into trouble and turns out to be disastrous. Ranjit and Alok fight over their new tenant while Mahi is exuberantly enthusiastic to meet Toto and Manny.

Finally Mahi also find out the Golgappa chors name and that he is her old chaddi friend:)
