I wonder....

U know i watched this show A - Z last season and I am kinda following it now, not watching all the episodes really, but I do wonder..what is truly the future of reality shows of this kind ?? I mean, I know salman won last time, got 50 lacs great, but other than featuring in a questionable number alongside the great salman khan, what is he really doing these days ?? I read somewhere, he's trying to be an actor and stuff... we shall see.
but other than him, what abt the rest of them ??? there were some amazing dancers last season...siddhesh, jai,vrushali,alisha... what happened t these ppl ... some of them might have started their own classes....but does anybody reallllyyyy know how much they really make, i mean financially ????

I have been very curious about the financial returns of this career seeing this newfound surge in "passsion for dancing" these days....
does anybody really know how much do these masters make i.e.terrence,remo & geeta ???? I'm sure its very glamorous and looks good and that kind of stuff...but does anybody have the hard numbers.. the reason im voicing my questions is during auditions there were so many contestants who cried when they didn't get selected and that left me wondering....what is getting selected in this dance show going to do for these people....other than 6-8 months of fame & fans on facebook .....

please I dont mean to offend anyone , im not degrading anyone...i just want to know the reality...becoz when I was growing up...all I knew abt was that I have to crack my SSC & HSC board exams & boy have i slogged for it !!!! & reasonably made it I would say, so this craze to be on a dancing show on TV makes me wonder ....how are ppl doing academically in India these days ????

Yes, nothing comes overnight. They are now well known, may be getting to do shows, gradually will get side dancers role in movies , they will learn more and gradually will have their dance classes like Terence and Remo, they may join some film choreographers as an assistant etc. etc.

For the peak time period of a dancer, they make quite good money

Its hard even to get into a troupe if u not from mumbai, this is one way in.

I'm not sure about all the dancers from DID1 and where are they now. It would be interesting if they showed a segment on the sow about it though.

If you are a dancer you will know the real worth of getting into a show like DID. I don't care about the people who cried for not getting into the show. That's the reality, if you are not good enough you are not in. I would say at least 95% of whom are in are the most talented of the lot.

Yep H4L I hope they bring each contestant from Season 1 to do the opening act of the show...

As for the topic opener...A few years back I don't think stage shows dancers earned that much moeny, but with the shows and all the craze has caught up and many dance troupe's perform abroad and I guess are paid well. You have to be a good dancer to get in, all are not welcome ofcourse...Though only a few make a good career out of it by choreographing, assisting or opening a school, the others are probably left with not many options...But I think heir passion for dance gives them the strive to leave all the other greener options and go for this...Vrushali as said has Marathi offers, Siddhesh I think is assisting Geeta I guess, Salman is trying to get in films, Prince probably still has a lot of fans in gujrat, so he can teach there, Alisha has her own dance school, Mayu is doing really well in TLDA shows, and our dear Jai has set foot in choreography and will be doing that for DID Junior, all the very best to him...hope he makes Terrence proud...
