U know i watched this show A - Z last season and I am kinda following it now, not watching all the episodes really, but I do wonder..what is truly the future of reality shows of this kind ?? I mean, I know salman won last time, got 50 lacs great, but other than featuring in a questionable number alongside the great salman khan, what is he really doing these days ?? I read somewhere, he's trying to be an actor and stuff... we shall see.
but other than him, what abt the rest of them ??? there were some amazing dancers last season...siddhesh, jai,vrushali,alisha... what happened t these ppl ... some of them might have started their own classes....but does anybody reallllyyyy know how much they really make, i mean financially ????

I have been very curious about the financial returns of this career seeing this newfound surge in "passsion for dancing" these days....
does anybody really know how much do these masters make i.e.terrence,remo & geeta ???? I'm sure its very glamorous and looks good and that kind of stuff...but does anybody have the hard numbers.. the reason im voicing my questions is during auditions there were so many contestants who cried when they didn't get selected and that left me wondering....what is getting selected in this dance show going to do for these people....other than 6-8 months of fame & fans on facebook .....
Does anyone have answers to my questions ??
please I dont mean to offend anyone , im not degrading anyone...i just want to know the reality...becoz when I was growing up...all I knew abt was that I have to crack my SSC & HSC board exams & boy have i slogged for it !!!! & reasonably made it I would say, so this craze to be on a dancing show on TV makes me wonder ....how are ppl doing academically in India these days ????\
Sorry if i sound boring ....again....I was just wondering.

no, you have a good point. i feel like, these days, in terms of media marketing and all that, is so hyped up, that people are looking to find and see something different. In terms of academic.. have you noticed, how so many of the contestants that get to be on the top 18 or top ranked or even those who came for auditions all come from various backgrounds, not everyone comes from a stable financial backgroud, so its understood, not all have had the opportunity to get the proper education. They i feel, live by their talent, and these shows I feel, gives them an opportunity to put their talents into use, and make something out of themselves. Who knows, doing shows and all that, they can earn name and fame, and succeed further in life. Like get scholarships and work with other talented choreographers. Jai Kumar Nair is a perfect example. He got an opportunity to showcase his talent! he'll be choreographing DID Juniors. India's population is rising so much, and the rural population is so vast in numbers, that majority of them dont get educative opportunities. When you do, versus others who do, and those participants, choose dance because is their passion, and do other instructive careers (engineering, doc.) because, its more stable, and has a direction. But passion is something..that'll always be in their hearts, and they'll excel in it nevertheless.. This is like an opportunity for them, to learn something new.. nothing only outside their knowledge but also most importantly about themselves, what they know they are capable of, and what they didnt know! Thats just my thought! :)

I dunno about others, but few from TKT; such as Jai choreographed that Kids act on DID, has his own dance academy and worked in a film as well. Mayuresh acted in the serial Maayka, but I dont know how good his role was etc. Vrushali choreorgaphed in a marathi movie 'Chingee".

So basically, few people did make a headstart somewhere. Now it remains to be seen how far they go. But, all the mentors Remo and Geeta were background dancers before they became recognized. So fortune does favor the brave and how people make use of the opportunity they get. All the masters probably earn decent enough, since Terence and Remo have their own classes and have choreographed in movies as well. I surely think DID is quite famous and people do get a fair bit of recognition in the area they are trained in. Sucess does come for those who sustain long enough but perhaps many give up because of the initial hickups in this field😕
