The 5th Chevrolet Apsara Awards was held at the Chitrakoot Grounds, Andheri. The Chevrolet Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards is the Guild's endeavour to honour excellence in cinema and television by the stalwarts of the industry itself. The night witnessed thirty-one awards which were distributed and out of these, five awards were for the Television industry in the Best Non-Fiction Series, Best Drama Series (Fiction), Best Director ' Fiction, Best Actress and Best Actor in a Drama Series. So here are the winners of the Apsara awards as the show Uttaran emerged as the winner.
Best Drama Series ' Fiction
1) Uttaran (Film Farm India Pvt. Ltd.) Won
This show truly deserves to win this award as everyone has done their job superbly right, from the creative heads to the actors. The show gave tough competition in the month of October and gave highest TRP of 9.83.

She has dedicated this award to Ekta Kapoor who gave her the first break in the show Koi Aane Ko Hai. She told us, "It is a great achievement for me and now I will work hard to get more awards for Uttaran. I am very happy that my show got four awards in this ceremony."
